Don’t let or Buy the property in Alton Mews Aylesbury, HP19 8JZ.
Be careful if you’re still going ahead with this property.
The property is poorly built and the painting and the electrical works are of very poor quality. I would have given 0 rating if possible. If you have gone through them for letting and if you have paid some deposit, you are never going to get any money back. I paid £1146 as deposit and stayed there for 10 months. It was very new property. Already there were marks on the bathroom floor of paints, and in checkout they have mentioned as the floors are not cleaned though it was given back in exact condition i got. They conducted the checkout without my presence. The bulbs keeps flashing even after changing them already 3 times in last 10 months. our property was in the ground floor, so due to the moisture the walls were getting moulded regularly even after cleaning. The edges of every walls were showing wear and tear due to the poor quality of painting. The property was handed over well cleaned and they haven’t returned me a single penny as they say it requires deep cleaning. I wasted my 2 days to clean them. Deduction of some amount is acceptable, but whole amount for due to the poor quality of the building is not acceptable at all. Rubbish customer service and Mr Alexander was of no help

Awesome experience with Connells. Very professional! We had a viewing with Mr Rawail couple of weeks back in Aylesbury. I was bit late for my appointment but Rawail made sure I will get enough time to look around. He also assured a second viewing if I have interest to go ahead. Chase helped previously and made an extremely good first impression so had to be our first port of call to sell our property, clearly had done his research as he had a very accurate valuation extremely close to the RICS surveyor and processed the property to market quickly, always contactable and quick to respond, made us feel very supported in the process.
Rawail clearly understood the property and his buyers and brought the right people at the right time to see the property. The first viewing an offer was submitted. Which demonstrates the ability to match the correct buyers to the matching homes.
And Erien has processed all the documentation, mortgage application, insurances and services quickly and was extremely patient and efficient through the process, getting us great deals and helping us pay as little out of pocket to the process.
All round great, astute and efficient team, always seem happy to help and the help comes quickly, well worth approaching for the sale or purchase of a property in Aylesbury.

I would rather give them a 0 star if only that was possible. My best advice for anyone who wants to get a mortgage. Go to a proper mortgage broker and they will give you the best advice. Not going straight to the Estate Agent and use whatever they recommend. We paid them already around £1000+ but not heard from Pritesh or Pritish since September 2021. We are unable to retrieve the money back as it is non-refundable. We've been requesting for a call back or even a message but no answer from him. We managed to get a wonderful house now with an amazing independent mortgage broker. Not what the estate agent recommendations. Be careful and protect your hard earned money.

Avoid to use them buying or selling, Absolutely disgusted with contact and poor communication, appalling fictitious viewers, I called the branch several times, I left my details with letting advisor (luck of no sells team advisor available) and kindly request to call back, made an enquiry regarding to property by the-time they get back to me( no contacted at all) I found out property been sold by different estate agent. Disappointed very bad experience and disgraceful. I will follow up and escalate the issue with their internal complaint procedures.

I will start by saying that 6 years ago, I didn't have the best experience with Connells when buying my flat through them. However, I have completely changed my opinion on them since then. I had my flat up for sale with a different agent for four months with a few viewings, but no offers. Chase from Connells had proactively contacted me, researched sales in the area and explained to me the way that they work, and how he would push for mine to sell. I was eventually able to get out of contact with the other agent, and within a couple of weeks on the market with Connells, Charlie and the team had found me a buyer, and even better - it was a cash buyer. If you are looking to sell a flat in Aylesbury, I highly recommend using Connells. They know the market, and they will work hard to help you sell. The sale of the flat completed at the end of last year, and I bought a property via a different agent. I'm delighted at how smoothly everything went, and I'm grateful in particular to Chase for being proactive, polite and very approachable. He's a real credit to Connells.

Sent emails about every issue we had living at the property and upon asking for the deposit back miraculously none of the issues had been logged. The person who dealt with our valuation did everything possible to make things very hazy and fuzzy. The small prints are so small that one cannot read. Hence once they took over my sale, they came up with fees which was not my understanding. I understand I should have checked this before. Their valuation were completely unrealistic. As a result we had to reduce the price quite substantially which doesn't change their fees. Although we were told that the fees is proportionate to the sale price. However I must thank Samantha and Chase for completing the sale and their help. Once one accept the small prints, they are very good helpful bunch of people.

Don't be fooled by how nice the letting agent is!! Let us move in a property with a very bad leak in one of the rooms, resulting in my friend having to extend her contract with her previous flat, paying double bills and double rent. Hid it when we were visiting and then acted like they were not aware, never provided us with a check in inventory despite us asking for it. I had to move out as we were getting no update on this after a month, they are now saying that we owe them a reletting fee and completely ignored any email asking for updates or only answered the question they wanted to, ignoring the other ones. Not impressed and really not happy as this has now been going on for another month and both my friend and I had to spend so much money and energy in this... ridiculous.

Would Give 0 Stars if I could. Have had a broken fridge and Dishwasher for almost a year now along with other "minor" issues since we moved in 3 years ago. Which at the time where told they would be sorted either before or shortly after we move in. Have had no contact from them at all since March 2020. No reply to emails or through their repair reporting platform. When calling the office we have been told our property manager isn't available at the moment but they will call us back. If your looking to rent avoid this lot at all costs.

My partner and I wanted to view a property, we have a mortgage in principle. Which I’m sure everyone can understand is a long task in itself. We were told we had to do an affordability check prior to viewing for the protection of the seller. It is not an estate agents job to check if my partner and I can afford a property, that’s the mortgage broker and banks job. It’s a conflict of interest them knowing our finances. They’re legally obligated to make a seller aware of an offer but if they only let certain people make offers based on their own algorithm of affordability then previous reviews saying that their house received only one viewing in 3 weeks isn’t a surprise. They’re the only estate agent out of 15 I arranged viewings with to ask such a thing. Very disappointing as we loved the house and had a mortgage in principle for more than the asking price and were willing to offer more to secure a sale.

After moving the flat I was trying to change utility suppliers but find out that Connells already provide to contact utility of my flat with out my concern. Not only that they forwards all my details without even asking of me. They don’t care about data protection act. Better to be careful when give your details to them.

Connells were absolutely fantastic with getting us into a property as smoothly and quickly as possible. Aaron especially was very helpful, excellent knowledge when taking us to see properties, and couldn't have done more to help us. Amazing service would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

Recently moved in to a property managed by Connells. At first I had no water, this was swiftly resolved on the day. Then I had no hot water and after having to complain to their Head Office in Birmingham it was resolved. Emails are regularly ignored by employees.

Adam was particularly helpful throughout and the rest of the staff are equally friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I was wary meeting with Connells Estate Agents in Aylesbury, as hadn't heard particularly positive reviews of the company, when trying to sell my property. However I was pleasantly surprised - The agent I initially met with was polite, open and very willing to answer all the queries that had arisen from my prior research. He was the only agent from the six companies I met with to come prepared to measure each room in the house and take pertinent information to make the rest of the initial process quicker.
There was no hard sales or pressure pitch made and he was open to discussing flexibility over fees, due to contributions to the sales package that I could make. I'd had a previous bad experience with another local estate agent I took on prior to Connells; but decided to go with them next, in part due to the positive initial valuation meeting and in part to their larger sales coverage of London and the local areas.
Daniel, the main agent that then took over the sale of the property, the previous agent was leaving the company and made me aware of this in our initial meeting/valuation, was fantastic to work with. He was in continuous contact to update me at each stage of the process, he worked hard in tandem with my solicitor to ensure continued discussions with the buyer and myself, to keep us all on the same page. The buyer wanted the sale to happen particularly quickly and this was possible because of the hard work of my solicitor and also Connells agent.
I found that any requests I made were taken on board and acted upon in a timely manner and any feedback I gave was taken seriously. All in all they worked with me and supported my decisions, offering advice where needed, the house was on the market with them for a reasonable amount of time before an offer was accepted and they enabled a swift sale when this happened.

Found the staff very enthusiastic regarding my house sale. Manageress even put a personal business card through my door (as I had another estate agents for sale sign up) saying they had buyers looking for exactly what I had. So I went ahead & met one of their agents. She was even more enthusiastic & also had more potential buyers on her books
who would be more than interested.
Now I am not that nieve to not take there jargon with a large pinch of salt. So you can understand my disappointment that nearly 3wks in I have had 1 viewing. But to my delight that resulted in a very enthusiastic potential buyer who said " I really like it & will be putting an offer on the table" after the w/end (was a Saturday). It's now Thursday & I'm still waiting.
All I want is more honestly & transparency PLEASE.

Their 'launch' days for new builds are nothing more than just a 5 minute run down of the offering at their office that you could do over the phone. They dont give you essential information in advance either, such as when a property is actually available. Or if it can viewed.
They knew I drove from Kingston to Aylesbury on a Saturday but seemed ok with me basically taking out my whole day and cost of travelling for nothing. There's been no apology, I have emailed them since to ask why they did this and if it was normal and have had no reply.
If you read the other negative reviews here, they all reflect this attitude. So clearly it's a common thing and they just couldn't give a damn.

A massive thanks to Chris and Samantha who were very patient with my husband and I, two very panicked first time buyers. They explained everything to us, helped a lot with the chase of the seller's solicitors and made a huge difference to the speed of the process. About 3 months from viewing the property to moving in. Would definitely recommend them!

By far the worst experience with an estate agent so far. I was booked in for an appointment with Chris yesterday, he wasn't even there and none of the other members of staff knew what I was there for. Samantha ran through 'all the properties matching my requirements' which were actually just the two I'd been booked into view and now one didn't meet my requirements as it no longer came with parking. She then sent me off to view the other but after the ten minute walk we found the show room was locked and the developers weren't answering their phone. I called Connells and Samantha advised she'd call them and call me right back, but never did. Wouldn't ever use this branch again, even if I thought my ideal property was being marketed with them! Hopeless and exceptionally poor customer service.

I would say its lucky for the Aylesbury branch for not having a Facebook page. Terrible customer service followed by rude inexperienced staff, helping my younger brother deal with an early end of tenancy was harder than the tour of afghan i did. Would not recommend at all, Avoid and go elsewhere!! They only got one star because you have to put one!!

Very terrible experience with this agency...I have bought house through this agency on June 2016. I was chased up by so much after I had viewing of development sights to pay for initial booking fee and provide some documentation after that I was never got contacted by them in fact I have to chase them to get latest update on development. Their customer service is very poor, I left several message for their agent to contact me but it never happened and I am the one who has to contact them every time. I will rate their customer service 0/10. I have used their mortgage advisor and I was very disappointed. Poor customer service no timely response and they have provided me incomplete information which ended up me paying twice for my application and product fee. I recommend everyone not to use their mortgage service and never buy Connells membership. One of the worst estate agency I have ever deal with it.
