From initial valuation to final sale they have been there.
Tom leading from the front, understanding thay as I am visually impaired paperwork is a big problem for me, so he took on the form fillong responsibilities, reading out and explaining as he went along advising all the time. It is said moving home is strwssful, however Tom and all at Team Chancellors made my exprience both pain and dyress free.

The process of rescheduling revealed a series of unprofessional behaviors and systemic issues within the staff and management. There were instances of overt rudeness, including raising their voices and making sarcastic remarks when asked for clarification.

Chancellors were fantastic to work with from start to finish! Our property was sold elsewhere in the end, however I can't stress enough the support we had in the whole process. My agent Lillie was extremely nice and helpful. As a local she even gave me some insight and advice on things to do locally. Was a pleasure meeting her, and 5 stars to her, she really sold the place well to me. Only downside to the whole process was that I wasn’t a fan of the Lettings Hub, the referencing agency used by Chancellors. They seemed like a useless middle man that didn’t do much except extend the process. Didn’t seem super professional and their online reviews are terrible, so was quite uncomfortable sending them my personal details. Wish I could have just sent my documents and references to agent/landlord directly - sometimes simple communication is best, instead of outsourcing everything!

I had the worst experience ever with this letting agency I wanted to put zero star but we all know how it goes on here. I had the best of experience when I was renting with them but after living in the property and at the end of the tenancy it shows they did not care at all. I have to be leaving work early the chase them regarding my deposit and for weeks I am being told they cannot get hold of my Landlord to sign off on the return of my deposit. I feel like they are literally taking me for an idiot but I will continue to share my experience with others. This is the same letting agency that has the flat up online for rent . Like you can rent the Landlord property without his permission then but I cannot get my deposit without permission, WORD TO THE WISE if you ever experience this raise a dispute within 3 months of end of tenancy as they will not tell you this.

Please read this carefully before you even think of contacting them.
I liked a property that was advertised by this agent, hence I contacted them.
The phone was answered in a couple of rings by Sian who was the sales manager.
She answered all the queries I had and spoke in a friendly manner.
After I viewed the property and called to make an offer, the phone was again answered in a couple of rings.
After a few hours I was contacted by James who said that my offer had been accepted however they will continue to market the property.
I was not too happy about this as this was not standard practice, however James advised me once a survey was carried out they will take the property off
of the market. I told him that if I pay for my searches it demonstrated that I was financially committed. He did not agree to this.
James is actually a lovely person, however on this occasion I think he was following instructions from his senior colleagues.
I thought paying for the searches would be quicker than waiting for a survey to be carried out, hence I could get the property off of the market quicker this way.
I called back shortly and spoke to Sian and asked her to reconsider, after a couple of minutes she started howling at me, advised
I was repeating myself and remarked, you have 5 mins to call your lawyer to pay for your searches and ended the call.
What she meant was it was 4.55 and it will be 5pm in 5 minutes. I called my solicitors and they advised, without
a memorandum of sale, I am unable to pay for my searches. The manner in which Sian spoke to me was absolutely appalling,
she is prepared to say anything to get you off of the phone, I think she should not be working in customer service as words like empathy
and politeness mean nothing to her. After I paid for my searches they did take the property off of the market,
but after paying for my searches whenever I called them no one picked up the phone at the branch, it went through to an overflow team, whenever it was
convenient for them they got back me. Before the exchange of contracts I decided to view the property again but no one turned up
for the viewing, I got a written confirmation which explicitly stated someone will turn up but no one did. Once you are financially committed
you are no longer a priority. This was absolutely appalling and disgusting. I waited outside the property from 2.30 pm till 5pm,
called 10 times, sent 3 e-mails and no one got back to me. I wait for 2hrs.30 mins in the cold with my elderly mother and nothing.
It was a 160 mile round trip, I came from south east London to Aylesbury. Whenever I called I got through to the overflow team who said someone
from branch will get back to you and no one did. I asked for a call-back from a manager and asked for an explanation and compensation for time wastage.
I got a call back from Lee the next working day, who was the area manager, who said they are unable to provide any compensation as this is down to an admin error and not the seller's fault. I was shell-shocked at his explanation. Please do not use these people as they will make you question your sanity.
Couple of days before completion day, I called them, as expected I was unable to get through to them and no one picked up in a couple of
rings as they don't care about me as a I am financially committed, they called me back on completion day to say although they shut at 6pm
I will have to collect my keys at 4pm as no one will be in office after 4pm. Luckily I made the call, on completion day once I collected the keys
from them, I looked up at the heavens and thanked god, by god's grace it was the last time I was in contact with them.
On a positive note, I felt James was a very friendly person and a good agent other than that it was a very bad experience with them.
Please avoid them. They may be initially friendly with you however
once you are financially committed they will not care about you, I feel they may be short-staffed. Also, as explained before Sian should not be working in customer service.
I do hope they improve but they have a long way to go.

Weekly calls to keep you updated make you feel reassured as to the fact that they are on top of your property and your concerns. I have boked the appointment with estate agents to view the property in Aylesbury at 13:45.veiwing booked and confirmed a week earlier. on the day of viewing, received a text msg to confirm the appointment at 09:09AM, to which i have confirmed by replying with 1 (Yes). I have travelled almost 20 miles to reach Aylesbury. At 13:28 received the call from estate agent to say that my appointment is cancelled and not taking place as scheduled for 13:45.I have already reached to the location by then. one magical word said by the agent (Apologies), I have lost all the day. Utterly disappointed by the service and arrangements' would have given -1Million star for their service. I don't have an option for that, so I am giving 1 star.

If I could give them less than one star, I would, the worse agency i have seen. Since they took over management of my property, they did very little to look after it or my interest. EICR report was done by a company that provided a report no other company could understand to remediate. I couldn’t get other quotes to compare. Chancellors are not in the habit of comparing contractors and they make it hard for landlords to do, costing me more money. To top it off, tenants stopped paying and all I received was emails they are chasing, but not end in sight. Avoid!!

No communication. We didn't use them but brought a house from people who were using them. Throughout the whole process they phoned CONTINULOUSLY, 3 times a day at one point, with different people asking me the same question and claiming they hadn't heard what I had said to someone else. They also threatened every week saying our sellers were going to pull out that Friday for 3 whole months but of course they didn't. This put unnecessary stress on my partner and me for no reason. Finally they phoned my solicitor and told them we were thinking of pulling out so I ended up with a phone call from my solicitor asking what they meant. I had to tell them it was a lie and not to believe them. I didn't trust them and I would never use them.

Had an eye on a house for over a month, tried to get a viewing. got cancelled twice without even getting a call. I had to call myself to see if the viewings were going ahead or not, or I would have turned up with no viewing. Eventually they did a round of viewing, and didn't bother calling and including me on the viewing. The house had offer come in for the house and it left me fuming that I didn't get the chance to do so myself.

Highly unprofessional people. Booked a viewing for a property and reached there on time but were unable to find the property. Tried calling the branch, no answer initially but after couple of tries managed to speak to someone. They advised Amy should be showing the property to us and she will get in touch with her and come back to us. Waited another 20mins (total 40mins) but no one called back.
Wasted 30mins of Journey and 40mins of waiting time. Would never recommend them and DO NOT DESERVE ANY STAR AT ALL.

I called the office this morning at 11.30 spoke to someone who advised that a message would be passed on to call back.
Again no one has called back, I have just tried to call again 3.15pm but no one is answering and found that there is no facilities to leave a message.
I am extremely disappointed to say the least and find your company highly unprofessional.

Patrycja Eichstadt in particular was fantastic - she helped from the day after enquiring, and was able to help me look for the ideal property straight away. She was in contact daily with updates, and kept me constantly informed of what was needed and helped chase with any outstanding issues constantly, working around my working schedule.

Very negative experience upon sale completion of my property. Chancellors did not have the keys for the buyer to enter the property on completion date. No accountability on their part to make sure the keys were in hand prior to the buyer moving in. Seller had to pick up a £200+ locksmith bill to get the locks changed so that the buyer could move in as planned. No apology received or goodwill gesture offered by Chancellors to even split the locksmith bill. Highly embarrassing scenario highlighting major gaps in Chancellors completion processes. Will never use Chancellors again as a result and do not recommend the services of Chancellors Aylesbury due to sheer inability to identify flaws in their own processes.

Called on Monday to book an appointment for a property valuation, arranged a date and time which was set by them. Two days later they call to arrange a new time as if the first appointment never existed and said that the original time is not doable now.
Making appointments is a core part of estate agents work, so if they cant make and keep valuation appointments properly, what hope would there be of them being able to arrange and keep viewing appointments for potential buyers effectively?

James Livingstone and Richard Alexander well what can I say really the worst lettings agents I have ever come across. They do not care about the client, lie and rude. They are down right crooks! if anyone has any dealings with them then please do so with caution. There is no good reason why you should ever let a property through them, on viewings they make you feel forced and uncomfortable. there are plenty of other agents in the area that you can use and I have now found a property somewhere else. I hope that they will be avoided at all costs and forced to leave the company, maybe then I will reconsider using them.

The whole organisation have an aversion to returning telephone calls.
House Sales team Absolutely awful, wonderful and friendly when they want to sell you something, arrogant and cold when you need them. No one returns telephone calls, nobody in sales wants to know once you have been passed to the out of town sales progression team. Even their out of town property management team rarely return calls.

I am not happy with the way Sian ( manageress) conducted sale of my house. I invested 8 months in total. Although she found me buyer l quickly learned that, this buyer had problems getting mortgage. When mortgage was finally approved and full asking price offer accepted by me, she didn't send me sales memorandum at all so alarm bells started ringing and begun thinking if that buyer ever existed?
She insisted everything is fine and told me that it's ok for me to look for a new house to buy. As soon as l found the house she told me that buyer doesn't answer her calls, another words she lost me a buyer.
I can't believe this sort of practice is allowed?
I eventually gave 2 weeks notice because l had enough of mind games and dishonesty from Chancellors in Aylesbury.
I think Nick Simmons ( area manager) should look into it.
Also, the last straw was when Sharon ( manageress) told me l was demanding when l went to the office to collect my house keys. In summary don't expect too much from Chancellors otherwise they will call you demanding!

I'd like to thank The chancellor's Estate company for their polite manner in which they informed me that they had in fact forgotten about my prior arranged viewing. I found it very useful after driving over 25 miles that not only had they forgotten but the property was no longer available. I did try my hardest to look on the bright side and accept their very sincere apology by remarking on the sun being out but then it instantly began throwing it down with rain.
All in all this has been pretty poor customer service, lack of professionalism and a waste of my time.

Overprice houses in order to secure a deal with the seller. Look at Zooplas most heavily reduced prices and you'll see how obvious this is.
Arranged a viewing on a property that we turned up for, and they didn't because they had sold it earlier on that week. Its completely fine to sell a property but to let us know prior to turning up rather than not turning up at all would have been appreciated.
Freely mislead and told categoric lies on several occassions to myself and my Wife.
Eventually we agreed to buy a property that was a chain free deal and in 5 months hadn't heard much at all from anyone until we decided to cancel.
We pulled out of the sale in the end but confident to say 70/80% of our decision was because of Chancellors.

I had a terrible experience. The manager Sian is just horrible. Disrespectful and dishonest. She even hid underneath a desk to avoid talking to another customer who was not happy. I have had to call the police to try and get my keys back as I just cant stay with a company that treats me like this. It takes weeks to get a reply, little or no updates on viewings. Try and phone and you get an answerphone and they never get back to you, how are buyer meant to get through? They over price your property to get the business and then try to get you drop your price drastically to sell to get their commission. For your own sanity use another agent. You have been warned.

From start to finish the process of selling my house with chancellors and the manager Sian as my agent can only be described as flawless. Moving house, being one of the most stressful experiences especially with a young daughter in tow, was made simple and relatively pain free. We were kept in touch constantly with updates and it was never a case of me 'chasing' the office to find out what stage we were at. I can not recommend them highly enough. If you are thinking of selling your home or looking for a new property, chancellors and namely Sian should be your first point of call

The first communications were fantastic, the sales manager told us everything we wanted to know and we seemed very impressed. The house was up on the market in no time. However, we were forced to sign contract in our home surrounded by 4 members of staff, had no time to sit and read the contract, so we asked to have a copy of the contract sent to us as conveniently they'd only brought one copy that they had to take away with them. We were verbally told by sales manager that the contact was initially 4 weeks then kept rolling and there was a 14 day cooling off period. We only received a copy of our contract 3 months after signing and the 14 day cooling off period was no longer an option, the contact was a minimum of 6 months. When all of this was addressed with Chancellor's their attitude was extremely unprofessional. The sales manager has been untruthful and we had been tricked, there was no apology and no means of compromise to 'keep the client happy.'
In general their communication was shocking, they didn't reply to important emails and only did when threat of legal action was made.
They hardly made any effort to sell our house then when some buyers came round we were informed that chancellors had been saying false information to these potential buyers about us as vendors.
I would NEVER recommend them to anyone, they are deceitful, untrustworthy and unprofessional. I've spoken to others who have used chancellors and they have found the same experience.
Be very careful and don't trust anything you are told by them!

Both Richard and Ricky were fantastic throughout the entire process. Their communication was excellent and Ricky’s feedback was very helpful. Richards’s valuation was £100pcm higher than an identical flat in the same building but through their hard work and excellent marketing they were able to secure me an asking price offer within a week.
