Not very happy with Brown and Merry Aylesbury. They got an offer on our flat, then when buyer asked for a discount ,we agreed on condition they would exchange in 2 weeks . They did not and despite chasing the agents, we did not hear anything from them. 2 months later, buyer pulled out, and Brown and Merry never even emailed called or informed us . Just Silence!

It was 6 months with many ups and downs as the housing market went through a bit of a crisis. They stuck with me and went the extra mile to sell my house. Unlike other agents who were not proactive, B and M rang round people and the person who finally bought my house was a person who had been contacted by these wonderful people. After sequring a buyer within the first 2 weeks advertised (compared to 0 offers for 6 months with previous estate agent.) To then re selling within 2 weeks again after the 1st buyer dropped out they were very good and understood the urgency and getting the right people in for viewings to secure the sale.

We used Brown and Merry to sell our house and I would highly recommend them.
Justin was very thorough when he came to value the house and was really clear on the next steps. Russell and Ed did a great job of arranging viewings and showing people around our house. They were particularly good at giving us feedback promptly after the viewing.
Once we had accepted an offer Charlotte was extremely helpful and efficient at updating us on what was happening with our buyers and responded to my emails almost instantly even during the busy Christmas period. For us, this made the whole process a lot less stressful as Charlotte was always able to provide updates for us and chase the necessary person on our behalf.
Would definitely recommend this team to anyone looking to buy to sell in the Aylesbury area.

Terrible company - list is too long of issues but as an overview - no oven for Christmas, no plumbing or heating for 7 weeks and took 11 weeks for us to get our deposit back for absolutely No other reason than a 4inch paint job. Oh and we were homeless because they didn’t follow process and we ended up with squatters in our home. They couldn’t care less! Awful company.

In a difficult time, with house prices all over the place due to brexit uncertainty, we didn't expect to get as many viewings as we did, and certainly didn't expect to get a sale so quickly. The guys and ladies at Brown and Merry gave us a cracking service, polite and friendly at all times, and, when it came to showing potential purchasers around the property, they were brilliant.

She is always polite, always punctual and always well prepped with local area knowledge and general buying advice. Post- viewings communication is similarly speedy, detailed and useful - you absolutely get the impression she doesn't want you to buy any old house, but *the right* house. I used brown and Merry after a very messy divorce on the orders of the court, Edward, Martin and a few other staff were extremely friendly helpful and understanding of the situation that we were in. After trying two other estate agents which to be honest my ex made it extremely hard for them to sale it, the court order was then with Brown and Merry who took on the mantle having to go through what the ex put the other estate agents through.
But they perceived and got us a lovely couple to buy the property again who went through hell and back to get the house, I can understand her not wanting to sell but this was the order so a big thank you to Martin, Edward and the team at Brown and Merry from all your effort truly appreciate it all

Let me start from the moment I made an offer, Rhea was extremely helpful because as first time buyers we did not have a lot of knowledge about the whole process. We made an offer and since then at every single moment we were kept informed by Rhea about everything in the process, not once did we have to chase anything up. Even after everything moved to solicitors she would call to see if she can help quicken the process in any way. I recently dealt with Cathy when renting a property via Brown and Merry. She was fantastic throughout. From registering my details, listening to my requirements and keeping me fully up to date with any new properties coming on to the market. Because she was so thorough, I did end up renting a property with Brown and Merry. Seamless service, highly professional and I cannot recommend Cathy or Brown and Merry enough!!

After my usual agent unfortunately let me down with staffing problems I contacted an agent I’ve had dealings with before only to be told the market is slow, tenants are scarce and they couldn’t visit the property for over a week to carry out initial inspection. I needed a new agent to take care of my portfolio of Aylesbury properties. I contacted Sophie and Nicole. I was away at the time but they collected the keys from my old agent and inspected same day. It was on Rightmove straight away and around 10 viewings took place within a week. A suitable tenant was found and has now moved in. Thanks Sophie and Nicole. Energetic, proactive, caring, attentive, diligent, positive and reliable. I’ll be using you guys for the rest of the portfolio from now on. Having experienced dealings with 6 letting agents in the town to date, no other firm comes close to the service provided by Brown and Merry.

I would like to say a massive thank you to both Nicole & Sophie for their tremendous effort throughout my entire moving process. I moved out of my parents home to rent for the first time, and was very nervous and had next to no knowledge on what to do! Nicole & Sophie helped me every step of the way. No question was too silly! They were prompt at returning emails and was always at the other end of the phone if I needed any help. They are always friendly and very approachable when I came into the office.
