DO NOT LET OR BUY THROUGH THIS AGENCY.... you have been warned. I was renting through this agency and if you already had a bleak overview of these types of business, these guys are the worst of the bunch. I booked a house viewing with Jessy to view a property in Cornwall. We are cash buyers and do not have a property to sell. We were in Cornwall as my partners mother is seriously ill and we need to get a property to be close to her father. We said we could do it before Monday if need be and if there were other viewings but Monday was easier for us. As it was we were in Cornwall on Thursday anyway visiting my partners mother in hospital. We booked a hotel in the village and were very excited. Jess promised us that even if there were bookings before ours she would wait until our viewing to put any offers in. I reiterated we were happy to come before if need be as we were really keen on the house. Imagine our horror at getting a phone call two days before we set off to say an offer had been made and accepted! Karen who called me was rude and very assertive. We are devastated and had to pay for our room in the hotel even though we are now not going. I would never trust the word of this company which is a shame as we will probably have the misfortune of dealing with them again as we still need to find the right property in our desired village. I had a very strong intuition that the house would be sold at the weekend but foolishly ignored it (never do that!) because I thought I was being paranoid! Happy to show anyone interested the email confirming my appointment... I would certainly advise viewing the property on Monday to fully appreciate its proximity to the sea and its lovely location.
