I’ve just bought a house through Marshall’s. It was a very straightforward purchase with no chain, so it happened very quickly. Throughout the process the staff were really friendly and communication has been good. Very happy homeowner!

We spotted a property of the right size, location and price on Marshalls Web site which we found easy to search. We contacted the office and made an appointment to view which was very easy and found them very accommodating to fit a time and date to suit us. We put in an offer which we were informed very quickly was acceptable to the buyer.
We later sought another viewing to check measurements and again this was easily arranged.
We experienced delays by our purchasers conveyancers. Our solicitor kept Marshalls informed who in turn kept the seller informed.
The result was a successful transaction which was greatly aided abd facilitated by Marshalls.
A nice finishing touch was the welcome pack we found on moving in.
We also found all the staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional in their work and despite our frustration at lack of progress with our sale, the staff at Marshalls were brilliant at reassuring us and putting our minds at ease.

Had rented from them for two years with no issues from our end, was sent a letter saying the landlord required the property edit:turns out he's just leasing it p sure but still lol. Asked them for help multiple times in finding a new place, which they did not. Emailed them about an abusive tenant in our building, had zero reply. And they also tried demanding a full month's rent for two week's worth of stay. Staff rude and treat tenants like a nuisance.

I rented a property from these clowns. One of the worst living experiences of my life. The flat was noisy beyond belief. Tried to get them to soundproof the windows which they never did. They only care about money and could care less about their tenant's wellbeing. Would never rent with them again.
And if that wasn't enough, they charged me a fee to paint the walls after I left, meaning I lost money on my deposit despite the flat being in excellent condition.
They're willing to let out below par properties and expect high prices.

I have dealt with Marshall's to sell my main homes for nearly 20 years. Every time I have been impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail.
I have high expectations and can honestly say I have never been disappointed in their service. David Marshall himself handled my recent sale and followed up on every little legal niggle, keeping me fully informed. I cannot praise them too highly and although i have recommended Marshall's to many friends and relatives, all of whom have been totally satisfied, I want to make a public recommendation because I feel they truly deserve it.
