As I couldn’t be present for an accompanied viewing I asked to speak to the agent who would be there. It turned out that he was a retired gentleman who didn’t work in the office and carried out viewings when the staff were unavailable and I wasn’t allowed to speak to him! I suggested he phone me withholding his number, but no he couldn’t do that. The property has been on the market for months and I wanted to discuss the fact that I was willing to reduce the price if the viewer was interested. The feedback was ‘property overpriced so not interested.’
Feedback by email is limited compared with an agent selling my other property in England who phones after the viewing with very detailed and constructive feedback.
I’ve changed agents.

Can’t thank Dave and the Welshpool branch enough. They made sure we were fully up to date with whatever was happening in selling our property and buying our new one. Chasing up solicitors for us to see how they were getting on and keeping us informed. Leading up to agreeing a sale and purchase for our properties Dave kept in touch all the time making sure we got the best deal that was right for us.

Enquired about a house, didn't answer questions about boundary properly and when i asked again for a clearer answer the agent was extremely rude in the reply email! not professional and still don't have an answer! Certainly won't be viewing a house if seller can't answer a simple boundary question!

I was very interested in buying a property. I was refused a viewing until they had a Solicitor's letter attesting I was good for the money! I hadn't even been inside the property. So insulting. And yes, I happened to have sufficient funds. Wouldn't go near them again.

Me and my family rented Tegfan, Llangadfan, SY21 0PR from Moris Marshall and Poole/Norman Lloyd from Mr Toby Assinger. Upon moving into the property we noticed the master bedroom window and the built-in wardrobes were covered in Stachybotrys (black mould), the paint work was patchy and shoddy with a number of scuff marks, there was dust in nearly every room and the garage fascia had heavy moss growth. We complained to the landlord and Norman Lloyd to which they responded that we should take photos of the condition of the property which we did and then cleaned the property throughout to a liveable standard. 5 Weeks later the landlord asked to inspect the property we obliged even though this would seem too soon into the tenancy especially given the condition it was let in. He apologised for the condition the property was let and no concerns were raised. Imagine our surprise when only three weeks later we receive a letter from Norman Lloyd claiming the landlord was wishing to sell the property and would need to enter to take photos of every room. Why you would want a tenants belonging inside the property whilst you do this i do not know, also why the landlord felt the need to sell the property after letting it for 8 Weeks is questionable. We were also told in no uncertain terms whilst the landlord couldn't serve us our Section 21 notice we were more than welcome to find a new property. I have three children one of which suffers with cerebral palsy, he is due to have a very expensive life changing operation this is one of the main reasons we chose a bungalow. It left me and my family very distressed and out of pocket having to find a new home in such a short period of time. Norman Lloyd have merged with MMP and once we had decided we have to find a new home and moved out it was MMP's turn to attempt to extort my family. They claimed the house required re-painting at a cost of £225 to us and cleaning to the cost of £140 to us. We obviously did not accept these deductions to our deposit and i kindly pointed out that not only was the house in an unfit state when it was let, no inventory was signed by ourselves and the landlord or neither agent had the legal documentation required to determine what condition the house was in when we let it. Below are pictures of the property when we let and two of the cleanliness when we left. The house is currently being let which was agreed almost immediately after we left, even though the property was apparently being sold. There is nothing in law to stop agents and landlords doing this, in my opinion there should be. Ultimately I feel me and my family were discriminated against by the Landlord Mr Toby Assinger, Norman Lloyd and Morris Marshall Poole and I felt this review was necessary to help protect other young families like mine.
All my personal documents had not been returned and when I went to enquire after them they told me they had been lost. These included my birth certificate, payslips, utility bill and bank statements.

Put in an offer for a property which was tentatively accepted. Organised a surveyor and informed them so they could arrange for him to get keys (which they did). And then they forgot: not only surveyor but that I'd even made an offer. Owner accepted lower price because they thought I'd lost interest. Unbelievably unprofessional and then gave BS apology blaming their phone system. Worst I've ever dealt with.
