10th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Shocking .....the admin staff are officious rude and insulting... they hide in the bushes with cameras policing a shared car park like vipers... but this sort of behaviours may be needed in your defthe court room. ???? personally I would use another firm.

2nd Jan 2026 (6 weeks ago)m our first contact with your office we were impressed with the professional, relaxed approach we received from Adam who attended the address to do the valuation. He was attentive and knowledgeable. We then had dealings with Beth. Again from the onset we were pleased with her calm professional attitude. As we progressed through the process we encountered a number of issues and delays. We struggled with obtaining information from our solicitors, and there were a couple of times where we considered taking the property off the market as the process was becoming too onerous. However Beth stepped up and essentially took control of things. She has a knack of calming situations and allaying our concerns. If she was asked to do something she did in a quiet efficient manner providing us with timely updates and reassurance that things would get there in the end. She was friendly and supportive but remained professional throughout our contact with her. I can honestly say that without her guidance and support we would, in all reality, have removed our property from sale preventing us from retiring to the coast.

9th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)I would highly recommend Balfours, Allister and his team worked extremely hard to sell my mothers property recently keeping as well I formed and giving good advice throughout. Would definitely use this estate agency again!

14th Jul 2025 (6 mo. ago)My fiancè and I scheduled a viewing with Steven Jakeman on a property at Rothley Drive in Shrewsbury for tomorrow morning July 15th 2025. We emailed Mr Jakeman this evening as we'd noticed that the property had been re-advertised as let STC. Steven hadn't had the decency to contact us to cancel the scheduled viewing. Would not recommend this estate agents.

27th Aug 2025 (24 weeks ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.
3rd Feb 2026 (9 days ago)I didn't find Cooper Green Pooks helpful at all. They overvalued the property, got us hardly any viewings and I had to chase for information. Even when I said I was leaving them they didn't even ask why? Overall not impressed.
6th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)After having what we felt was an unsatisfactory service from one agent we decided to put the property on the market with Miller Evans who provided an excellent service. The property was revalued at a more realistic selling price and their communication, especially their attitude to enquiries was first class. They provided a hassle free, smooth and most considerate service.- 18th May 2022 (3 years ago)Having had a quotation from 3 estate agents, Halls were by far the most helpful & professional.

24th Aug 2022 (3 years ago)Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.
