Expect to pay more council tax, road tax and every other tax under the sun and get less in return. 2 weeks rubbish collection and can't be bothered to collect all bags because one is in a white bag. Every week we ask for food waste bags, never drop them off. Petty i have to write this but no one seems to bother answering a phone or respond to a missed collection.... Read more

On an emergency call out (I’m a plumber) I couldn’t find parking in the centre of Neath so went down to Miland road car park where I found the machine broken. With no time to spare I left the van there only to get a ticket. After speaking (only by email as you can’t get through on the phone) they are totally unsympathetic and told me to take legal action which will cost more than the £25 ticket! I feel robbed! And they’re doing it to loads of people... Read more

Disgraceful. Social services have many people's blood on their hands. They need to be held to account. They will be featured in the news one day, rightfully so, and only then will they do something and intervene, i.e. when it's too late. They fail suicidal vulnerable people with disabilities. They were contacted 16 times over a 3-month period, every time they promised to see what they can do and will be back in touch soon, they even sent letters to this effect. Surprise surprise, 9 months later and many phone calls to them later, they have not bothered to get in touch, not even one phone call. They should be ashamed of themselves.... Read more

Rang to enquire about private sector leasing scheme, as a landlord.Got switched to an answer phone, demanding extension number or name. Neither did I have. Dialled main number, again and explained what had happened. Guess what, I was put through to the same answerphone. Very helpful, won't bother again am getting older, waiting... Read more

I have just come back after spending a week in Neath and surrounding area. i must say it was a very pleasant time taking some lovely photos from knoll estate. and also Victoria park which is stunning. I would also like to commend the Gardner George who i asked for information about the church tower and he was so helpful and polite a credit to the council.... Read more

Almost impossible to contact as phone calls cut off almost immediately. Despite asking that my disabled access not be always blocked by bin men by dumping others recycling equipment against my gate it continues. Worst council of twelve that I've experienced!!... Read more

Tried to get a taxi from station road on Saturday night. Unfortunately the taxi rank was full of delivery driver cars from local kebab House so no taxis available in this rank. Great news however a private car parked on this rank took me to Sandfields for £5. 5 star rating for Istanbul kebab House driver for getting me home safe thank you.... Read more
