Review is related to the Talbot Green offices. As a landlord, they have been nothing but a pain in the backside since the takeover Nicholas Micheal agency. 5 out of 6 months they have been significantly late in payment, very little in terms of information or even responses to my numerous emails. Haven't visited the property once since march. At a loss to understand what I pay for! Avoid at all costs

If I could give 0 stars I would. We rent a property out and use these to manage it, however they really are terrible.
They fail to respond to any communication sent to them and then when you eventually get hold of them and express the disappointing service, they completely ignore what you're saying, reply with a bad attitude and make you feel like you're bothering them even though you're paying them for a service where all you want is rent paid on time or at least questions or concerns addressed regardless of the outcome. After 10 years of being with this company, it's never been great and is unfortunately getting worse. Occasional issues are expected as nothing goes perfectly but with Peter Morgan, there are issues nearly every single month, we have to chase them which can be ongoing and stressful. Clearly this company doesn't see customer service as a priority so we are currently in the process of looking for another company to manage our property.
What proves all the negative comments that are highlighted on this site is, if you look at the feedback, they only respond to the positive messages and completely ignore people that have issues or have concerns which is the same when you phone or email them.

Was informed that the letting agency I was will be are under new management which is Peter Morgan which coincided with the notice period for my previous residence. I have been emailing for almost two months now to receive the deposit back - which the landlord has agreed to- and only received one reply saying I should hear back from the DPS in a couple of days. Guess what? It’s been almost two weeks, no updates, absolutely nothing and they keep ignoring my emails.
Communication is non existent.
If I could submit a no star review I would.

Absolutely worst place you can rent from!!! Stay far far away! I’m not the only one who’s having issues getting my security deposit back! It’s been 37 days since I’ve moved out of the property and I’ve been passed from pillar to post it’s alway their in a meeting or they will call back but never do! Not it’s got to the point where they are just hanging up on me!
I have taken legal action against them and reported to rent smart wales where there is an investigation underway!
They have absolutely no idea how to run a business or how to speak or handle customers!
!!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY !!!!!!!!!
It’s been 2 months and till now 1 email back from the office!
Still the same news on the phone every time they’re out of office or in a meeting!
Now they’re just being very awkward and not realising my bond and that I have to do it myself!
Please stay far far away from this company!! They’re a scamming bunch of people!! Have no care in the world.

When initially viewing the property my agent Grant was welcoming and informative. He was friendly and definitely put me at ease when deciding on this big decision in moving. All the office staff have been friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Another good experience with Peter Morgan. The brochure for the property contained excellent photographs showing the property at its best.
All visits were handled efficiently we were notified in advance and again nearer time and the visits were followed up quickly.
A suitable buyer was found and the sale was moved along efficiently.
I have recommended Peter Morgan to friends.

Frm a land lord; this company are atrocious. Poor communication, poor management. Always in a meeting, never call back. Very late in sending my owed rent, then over charged for work I have already paid for...a substantial figure.... this is not the first time they have over charged/underpaid. I have had to chase and chase since I started with them. Always an excuse of lack of staff, meetings back to back, Barclays is holding your money...really?
Shame. Shame. Shame.
They fail to live up to their own contract.

Never answer the phone! When they do, always hung up on you and then when you call back it’s a repeat of this. Talbot Green always answer on their behalf and are more helpful!! Been chasing bond back and apparently head of lettings Mark is always in a meeting or out of the office! Ridiculous! Quick enough to take money off us then when we request bond back, seems to be like getting blood from a stone! Shocking communication and service.

I've had to chase them over my bond no communication regarding it at all until I messaged, been told multiple times itwill be in my account end of working day, yet still not recived it a month later. Keep getting fobbed off, when I phone now I get told someone will call me back and yet no one has, only email from caitlin. Will be going down there tomorrow and not leaving until I have my 980 pounds back.

Where to start? We rented a 2 bedroom property in Neath with Peter Morgan for just over 2 years and I have to say, it has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with an estate agents. The property had been recently refurbished and looked great. Not long after moving in it started to show it's true colours. We started to have problems with black mould in the front bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom had no extractor fan for ventilation and we had to have the window open every time we showered, needless to say this wasn't enough keep the mould at bay. In the bedroom the mould was gathering around the front wall, along the gutter line. We reported the problems and after a while they came out to see what the problem was. We were told it's our fault for not ventilating the property enough. So we did our best to air the house out but it did nothing to solve the issues. We learned to live with it and got on with it but the mould in the front bedroom got worse so we decided to move into the back bedroom and got on with it until December 2022. That's when the back bedroom, which had a flat roof developed a leak and also started having serious damp and mould problems, worse than the front bedroom. We reported this as soon as we noticed it and were repeatedly told that someone would be out to inspect the roof... it took a MONTH for someone to actually come out just to once again tell us that it's due to air circulation and it was out fault. By January both bedrooms were unusable and we had to move our bed downstairs into the LIVING ROOM!! It took a further 3 MONTHS of complaining about the issues for anything to be done about the issues and it was deemed that the flat roof did in fact have a leak due to rotten fascia boards and that the mould in the front bedroom was because of the chimney! It then took a further month for anything to be done about it. For 4 months we had to use our living room as a bedroom! This has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. The countless amount of times that I had been told something would be done and nothing was, the amount of times I had been told I would get a call back and never did! Sleeping in our living room because we didn't have a usable bedroom! And to top it off now, the landlord is trying to withhold our deposit. I wouldn't ever use these again, this company does not care at all about people's health or wellbeing. So glad that I have now purchased my own property and will never have to rent and be at the mercy of estate agents like these again!!

1 star is generous.
The most useless group of people I've ever had to communicate with. We have rented a property for the last 18 months through Peter Morgan, Neath branch; which was great due to a good landlord and not at all because of Peter Morgan reaching new extremes of useless at every turn.
We left the property in spotless condition and they now seem unwilling to give us our deposit back. At first it was waiting on the landlord approval then they said they would transfer it first thing the next working day, then when they didn't and we chased them up they claim actually the landlord has the deposit (which they don't, as I transferred it to Peter Morgan at the start of tenancy and have it in proof in bank statements and also it is written in the tenancy contract/agreement.) £692 is a lot of money which neither me or my partner want to be chasing you up with all the time, and the contract ended nearly a month ago now.
We just want our money back and to never have contact with Peter Morgan again.

Being someone that has gone through the selling and buying process. These people have been the worst. They were very un helpful and dragged there feet as long as possible. No communication. More chance on walking on water then them answering phone to you. Blamed everything on the vendor only later to find out vendor was only following their own poor instructions eg not cleaning out rubbish from property.

Peter Morgan Neath began marketing the house on 12 January 2022 after some three years with another estate agent. We had more viewings in the first week than in the previous two years, and on the 4th February 2022 we accepted an offer which met the asking price recommended by Peter Morgan.
Completion was achieved on 14 April 2022. I cannot express enough how impressed I have been with the efficiency of everyone at Peter Morgan Neath, the service they have given us really has been top drawer from day 1 to completion.

Stay well well clear!!!!was private renting off these crooks,was told it was a long term contract until I split with my partner and then all of a sudden after finding personal messages between my ex and the estate agent manager they served me with a notice to vacate the premise as they were selling the house,the house was old and delapaded,but turns out after kicking me out and being blackmailed by Peter Morgan staff to pay the reminder month rent or they were going to try and stop me and my kids having a housing association house the lovely people in Peter Morgan re rented the house to someone else then had the cheek to send court paper to me after kicking me and 2 kids out in the middle of a pandemic if you use these people you must be mad ????????also kept my £750 bond because I put a sky dish up?never had a sky contract in my life electric fires,kitchen floods,live electric cables hanging off wall which took 3 weeks to fix nearly killed my 2 year old son,average repair wait 3-4 week absolute joke.

Absolutely awesome company, dealt with Stacey throughout and she went above and beyond in all aspects. It's more than fair to say the service I recieved was amazing, far far better than the agent who sold my house!
Nothing was too much trouble, a really nice bubbly person with a real "can do" attitude throughout and everytime an update was promised, it was delivered.
I'm confident the sale would not have proceeded without Stacey's involvement.
A real credit to Peter Morgan Estate Agents.
All the other staff I had contact with were very nice, no complaints at all about any aspect of the process Peter Morgans were involved in.
The only regret was that I didnt ask Peter morgans to handle my sale!!!

From the initial point of contact when requesting the viewing of a property they had up for sale, the actual viewing itself with Jamie and the service to date has been exceptional. Leah from the negotiation of the offer, has been amazing. The paperwork was submitted to my solicitor with 24 hours of my offer being accepted and there was no fuss, stress or hassle to me, she took care of everything swiftly and promptly. Leah is very proficient, knowledgeable and nothing appears to be too much trouble for her. Can't praise her enough

Lack of interest. Seriously undervalued the property. Despite the adjoining property selling for significantly more in last few months. My property has been significantly renovated. Peter Morgan himself came across as quite arrogant.

They made the purchase process quite smooth indeed. I found the whole experience wholly 'assisted' (by Peter Morgan) from start to finish. I am especially happy with with this Company as I failed to get a mortgage through my bank Barclays over a silly technicality. However, James from Peter Morgan saw to it, that I was offered a complete mortgage package and ensured that I DID RECEIVE a Barclays Mortgage. This was a SERIOUS plus point for me, and should also be a plus point for ANY first time buyer! Well worth a punt! 5 STARS! Stacey at the Neath Branch was there at the end of the phone for help every step of the way. Thankyou Guyz, as I am now in my new home!

The past couple of weeks I have tried to view two houses, one with Clee and the other with Peter Morgan. The difference in service between the two was significant, one was unresponsive and a horrible experience filled with lies and contradictions, the other was with Peter Morgan. Not once did I have to chase, they were communitive throughout, professional and a special shout out to Leah who dealt with us on the day of the viewing and the negotiation of the offer, she was brilliant and by the time i'd driven back from the viewing the offer had been accepted and paperwork started. Can't recommend Peter Morgan enough, fantastic to buy from.

Promised much but unfortunately an unprofessional service received, I even got got an email referring to me as 'Dafydd BLOODY Crisp' at one point! Seriously?! Shocking!
Advised them I would be reviewing them on Google as wanted to try and raise their online profile, sadly I hadn't anticipated what was in store for me.
Several areas for improvement meaning I lost time and money here. Mistakes made and opportunities missed. It could have been so easy!
