As I was selling a property in Chapel st Leonard’s I asked local estate agents Oxfords to call and give me a valuation on the property and how they would market it. The first time I met Dan I knew I didn’t need to look any further. He was very professional. Knowledgeable and clear in his explanations. I was kept up to date on every aspect of the sale. If I had and queries I would always call and if he wasn’t available he would always call/ email me back promptly. Working with Dan and his team made the whole experience of selling the property smooth and stress free. Last year we decided to move to Chapel st Leonards. We went into Oxford Estate Agents. We had found a few places to view but they added a few more. We did all the viewings and it was one that they picked that stood out for us. A five star experience with Oxford Family Estates who went well beyond expectations with their friendly professional services. This was early in 2024 as we were looking to relocate from Essex to Chapel St Leonards and while familiar with the area needed lots of help to pin down our future home. We looked at several properties by arrangement and some accompanied by members of the firm. Finally after making an offer on a property ironically not one of 'theirs' we then suffered for 7 months before completion. Oxford stayed in touch in case they were needed and wished us well in this trying time. This year we purchased our bungalow through Oxford Family Estate agents and unfortunately due to our first buyer pulling out on us it turned into the most stressful experience ever, but thankfully because of Dan's calm and professional attitude our move eventually happened 6months later. THE BEST ESTATE AGENT IN THE AREA BY FAR, very professional and polite, valued our property correctly, advertised with excellent pictures including ariel pictures via a drone, then actively marketed the property obtaining several interested parties. Once a sale was agreed Dan constantly kept us updated throughout the sales process not only with our sale but with developments throughout the whole chain. Despite several issues arising further down the chain Dan was actively chasing to resolve these issues. Although our ongoing purchase was not with Oxford Family Estates, Dan was also actively updating us with developments with our purchase as their chosen estate agent (a large local company) failed to communicate between buyers and sellers thus raising several issues. I thoroughly recommend Oxford Family Estates to market your property as they seem to go the extra mile to obtain a sale. We put our home on the market earlier in the year with this family run estate agency. Much is made by them about it being a family business. We didn’t pay enough attention to the fact that we had waived our 14 day cancellation right , in our enthusiasm to be marketed quickly. We were over valued with the intention of reducing our asking price until we sold. We discovered a not so gracious side when we wanted to withdraw our home from sale.
