very nice ambience and service, but rather overpriced (£4 for a handful of chips) and less drinking options than what their menu says (beers and wines out of stock on the evening we visited). still, nice spot for a drink after work... Read more

Despite having a Sunday lunch menu on their website, they only offered a two course pre-theatre menu which consisted of a starter and a main. But they did allow us to swap the pre-theatre menu starter for a dessert at no extra cost. Food ok but not exceptional.... Read more

The second time I've been here following a trip to the ballet and happy with the pre theatre menu. My only negative point is that my sister asked for a slight change to her choice of meal which was not altered though I do feel if she had advised them at the time her meal was handed to her it would have been changed it for her.... A nice pub either just for a drink or for food. The place is nothing special, though it is well located to be near a couple of theatres. When we went in there appeared to be others also having pre-theatre meals. The drinks were reasoanbly priced for the location and the staff are both friendly and helpful. The place is also kept reasonably clean, so it is worth going into. Not an exceptional place, but the staff make the best of it and it is well located with decent service.... Read more

Once a year I’m treated to a matinee at Sadlers Wells and a meal after by friends. Unfortunately this year I was taken to this awful place. I have never received such poor food and with virtually no choice. It was the set pre theatre meal or nothing. The tables and chairs were grubby and uncomfortable . This was time I will never get back, food I would not have eaten but sent back. The pate and toasted brioche was minuscule but with a large price. The fish and chips the worst I’ve ever eaten, seriously. I left the pudding. A couple of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The disabled toilet was out of action, which I thought illegal. And just to finish off the awful experience they don’t sell coffee???? I wouldn’t recommend this place to any one... Read more

Much bigger than it looks from the outside with lots of light and not too hideously busy on a Friday evening. The drink selection is manageable, with a few craft beers including a decent spread on tap. Staff are efficient, if not especially ebullient and the food looks good though, as with most London pub food, it aint cheap. A perfectly good option with a better than average interior.... Read more

We have organised our wedding dinner at the Pearl and Feather and we were delighted. The food is really good and the menu quite varied to accommodate all tastes. Toygan and his team were amazing in the organisation of this very special evening for us. We had the whole downstairs space for us and it all went perfect, from starters to dessert and cheese. We also love this pub for a more casual evening around drinks or a nice meal.... Read more

We visited for drinks with family for a birthday birthday, the pub had no electricity which meant we could not pay by card, we went to a local cash point and came back and ordered a couple of rounds of drinks before being asked to leave at 11pm on a Saturday night as they were closing (the website clearly states 12pm). Despite this being early, we started to gather our things, finish drinks and head to the loo one last time before the staff very rudely asked us to leave twice more within a minute, as they had worked a 13 hour shift and had to do it again the next day. Very disappointing service considering we had gone out of our way to give them some business.... Read more

I have just had the most amazing Cod & chips ! Served with delicious mushy peas and tartare sauce - yummy ! The staff are ever so friendly and will Do anything to make you feel at home. I can't praise this place enough - by far one of the best fish & chips in the area. Last time I had sirloin steak and that was just out of this world. The place is clean with a lovely serene ambiance and the menu is extensive enough to satisfy any palate ! I will be back.... Read more

Lovely looking pub - great setting. Drinks were a little disappointing (my cider really didn't hit the spot as it was oversweet) and the food I hate to say was so disappointing. I ordered the chicken pot pie and was REALLY looking forward to it. The pastry was good. However it was REALLY watery inside. Where there should be a gravy or sauce of some kind there was water with a (very slight) chicken essence. It was also SO hot inside that it burnt my mouth to bits. (Not sure if that meant it was microwaved or not). All in all I REALLY wanted to like this pub but the food and drink meant we will not be rrtruning. Sorry.... Read more
