I recently rented a house through Hemmingfords Angel Estate Agents and experienced a smooth and wonderful service from start to end, the team was friendly, helpful, and always responded timely.
The flat I viewed was clean, well-maintained, and looked just like the pictures online. There were no surprises when I visited the properties. What's more, the inventory checking service was also fabulous and truly meticulous, reflecting all the details that needed to be recorded.
Even after moving in, they were quick to help with any basic issues which are actually quite simple, and I always felt supported.
Overall, this friendly Agent made renting a home easy and stress-free. I highly recommend them!

The whole process of finding a new flat was made extraordinary by Yasin, Sorcha, and Oscar. It was clear right away that they were professional, patient, and courteous. Yasin, in particular, spared no effort in making sure everything went well. Before recommending any properties, he made sure he fully grasped my wants and requirements. Truly impressive, he went to extraordinary lengths—including driving to my place of work—to hand over the keys, greatly simplifying the procedure for me. Because Sorcha was so committed and thorough in her responses to my many inquiries, the entire process ran well. She kept me updated and involved throughout the process with her courteous and quick email replies, which I greatly enjoyed. Throughout the property viewing, Oscar's pleasant demeanour and helpful advice placed me at ease. We were broadly happy with the service.
Pluses:
- Faz is generally very available and consults on everything related to the sale - and even some help on our onward purchase
- They had quite a professional pitch despite being a fairly small outfit vs. the bigger names. Both Faz and Rose are very pleasant to deal with
- We got a fairly quick and painfree sale
- Faz was able to do some fine negotiations with buyer
Negatives:
- Significant gap between price we were originally were pointed to by Faz and Rose vs. what we got. Relatedly, we didn't feel like Hemmingfords were really trying to maximise price once we had appointed them. Once we got an offer they were keen to maximise that but then accept it - rather than e.g. suggesting we wait a couple of weeks for what else might land
- Didn't feel like they were able to mobilise a large network/database of buyers (especially vs. original expectation) - and we only had viewings on Saturdays for some reason
- Quality of photographs weren't the highest. We felt our flat could have benefitted from higher quality photographs. Both quality of photos and photographer didn't do any artistic choices to show the atmosphere of the home

I will offer some constructive feedback on the usage of their third party reference tool, Goodlord. In general, it's a good platform and makes gathering all the required documents easy enough. However, the agents can't see what you uploaded into Goodlord, so they ask you for the same documents again via email, even though you've already uploaded them into 'their' system. This is tedious and repetitive, and I'm sure there is a better way to handle document management, without asking your tenants for the same things twice.
