I was a tenant with DR for 3 years and found Martin, Rose and Daniel to all be exceptional. As with any property you live in for years we had the usual set of issues, things occasionally breaking from wear and tear, the upstairs neighbours shower leaking one time etc, all were dealt with very quickly and professionally with great communication.

Given this company have decided to specifically name me in their response to the previous review I figure I’ll just clarify some points. Please note I do not consent to you using my personal data on your review, maybe brush up on GDPR.
We were purposely being as cordial as possible as we wanted to get our deposit back and they were getting increasingly stressy with us. A good example, as they quoted it, was our saying our dealings with them were straightforward - we literally never have any contact with them, it was always to the landlord direct, except for when it came time to leave and they got their back up over basic requests like ‘can you confirm we won’t pay rent on the day you’re saying we have to effectively vacate by 9am’ etc.
They 100% entered our property to carry our viewings without our express permission. This happened myriad times as they would text whilst we were at work and thus couldn’t approve even if we had wanted to.
The sort of company that will quote private correspondence because a review upsets them tells you everything you need to know. They are not a professional outfit.

We were tenants in one of the properties they managed during '16/17.
It was fine in general until time came for us to leave and we offered to leave early if they wanted us to (we had a completion date for a new flat that was flexible), so they did arrange that but then it all got a bit passive aggressive towards the end, primarily because our check-out day they basically said we had to be out by 2pm, including getting a cleaner in, so effectively we would have needed to move all of our possessions out from about 5am.
Anyway we just cracked on as they were adamant on the the time we had to leave, and then started sending emails about how the landlord was disappointed in us, and that he'd been an amazing landlord, etc. it was frankly pathetic, and made little sense as we never required anything of the landlord except on one occasion when his dishwasher stopped worked (which I took time off work to sort, and cleaned up after, etc.)
In addition to the above they would arrange viewings at 30-minutes notice on occasion and just text saying 'having a viewing for e.g. 35 minutes, let me know if it's an issue' i.e. they didn't explicitly get our ok, just assumed it would be fine. They also tried to charge us for damage to a lock that we reported the day we moved in, but it turned out they lost our check-in document so they had the gall to email the landlord to check if he was ok with us not paying to fix it. Bizarre.
In addition to the above, they sent us a list of 3 recommended check-out cleaners, and so we assumed they would be reliable. They were not, they took items from the property, and didn't clean the place to the required standard. I ended up taking them to small claims court to reclaim the 'unclean' property charge that Daniel Rose applied.

Very disappointed how our relationship ended. I have known DR for a long time as a tenant and I have trusted them with my own property after that for over 5 years… While they have been ok at their jobs in letting the flat etc, they are not skilled when an issue with their client needs to be resolved. the latest example of that is when I decided to terminate their services and rather than to try an agree a solution moving forward they decided to use their lawyers and prosecuted me for even for a small amount of money…future clients be aware! They are not the small nice boutique they seem at first!

A no-fault eviction during a pandemic isn't necessarily their fault, but their unwillingness to even be flexible about moving up my scheduled eviction date certainly was. Not a very friendly group.

Daniel Rose managed our flat in West Hampstead and we couldn't be happier with them. Whenever we needed anything, they were extremely quick to respond. They always made sure we were happy and updated on everything we needed to know. Even though there is another layer between the communication between you and the landlord, they made things so efficient and it couldn't be easier. Daniel Rose found me a perfect house to leave in 2018/2019.
The service it’s amazing, they are very professional and support your step by step from the beginning to the end.
They only provide houses and flats with very good quality.
The house I use to leave was very well look after and any problem was sorted straight away.

The staff, led by Daniel Primus and Rose Cavanagh are delightful to deal with and extremely professional. I doubt you will find a better letting agency in London or a better agent than Danny, who proved absolutely professional, effective and transparent at all times. I was renting with them for seven years and never dissapointed.
