This is a truly awful place to live. Most of the properties here are social housing and because of this it’s quite a rough area. We have complained on numerous occasions to the social landlord but nothing gets dines. Our children are too afraid to play out because it’s so rough. The houses are such poor quality I didn’t know where to start. 2.5 years later and we still have snags unresolved. There’s a fair bit of crime on the estate and most days the police are in attendance here, particularly at night.

This is a lovely estate which we purchased a house and the majority of the residents are friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the compliments end.
Persimmon are a horrendous company and house builder. The properties are substandard. Two years on residents that we know of, us included are still experiencing major issues and so-called snags. Persimmon would like you to think that any issues are merely snags but that’s simply Persimmon lies. These are major defects. For example, most of the front doors on the estate do not shut properly. Persimmon would have you believe that this is because they haven’t been fitted correctly but other builders and surveyors we’ve had attend have said that the door frames are to blame - something which will take a great deal of time and expense to fix.
Do yourself a favour and stay well clear.
And don’t get us started on the social housing tenants of the estate. Yes the vast majority are friendly, hardworking and law abiding but that does nothing to prepare you for the constant police vehicles and ambulances coming to the estate. Not longer than a year ago a resident attacked someone on here with a hammer - need we say more.

Nice short walk to town, houses built absolutely fine for the majority.
Any issues we have had persimmon fixed almost instantly and are always happy to help

A lovely housing estate, looks nice and clean and the houses are beautiful. Located at the edge of Diss, near the railway station. 10 minute walk into town.

Fantastic new housing estate being built in Diss. Perfect for the first time buyer and within walking distance of the town centre and railway station as well. Still building houses at the moment.
