This review relates to the Loughton branch, so it appears that all of the branches gain poor reviews. I can also confirm a very poor experience in dealing with them as I inherited them from another set of freehold cowboys. Major leaks occur continually from their flat, leading to damage in my property but like other clients they enjoy adding charges without the need to validate costs whilst not using any monies paid for the upkeep of the property. Avoid them at all costs!
They own the building in which I own a property, which is falling into disrepair due to their negligence, lack of professionalism and lack of the need to maintain rather than devalue property prices as the managing agent.
They also aren’t affiliated to any regulatory complaints process e.g Property Ombudsman, Property Redress Scheme, so legally shouldn’t be trading -ethically or otherwise based on the number of complaints. They usually don’t respond in a timely manner and the owner /MD Devon Taylor is rude, disrespectful and best avoided as your complaints will only fall into a mire-never to be dealt with again!
If they are managing your property The Tier 1 Tribunal is the only option for dealing with their unscrupulous tactics I’m afraid. So…To reiterate avoid them at all costs-if there were a lower star than 1, they would be receiving that!????

Pier Management are the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
We inherited them on a development where we own 6 apartments and their organisation, customer service and processes are shocking.
Incorrect billing
Threatening emails despite genuine queries being raised (due to their error)
No one answering the phone or emails.
The list goes on....

Absolute shambles of a “company”. Shear negligence and utterly disgusting attitude towards their clients. Beware they often use JB Leitch solicitors who are nothing more than bullies. They never own up to their own mistakes and will try whatever they can to swindle you out of your hard earned money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Shady as hell!!!! Sold my flat on right move without even letting me know. Still to this day I don't know who my landlord is. Also my ceiling fell down 4months ago and still they haven't fixed. Same for other tenants in the building. DONT NOT RENT OR BUY FROM PIER 1!!!

Liars and saying it's with all bills included and in the end of the agreement they will give you bills on your names for the past period, for example Council Tax 4000£

Rogue Agents, do not have clients best interests at heart and do not deal with perspective applicants fairly. Don't respond to phone calls or emails, rude and Charmaine was particularly painful to deal with. Avoid.

Very Unprofessional. Dealt with Ben and Bob. I was told my higher offer for a property was accepted. I instructed my brokers and valuation accordingly. After two weeks got a message saying another buyers survey with a lower offer came through. They withheld information on the other buyer and their survey. They wasted my time and money. Absolutely appalling service. I will not be dealing with them again and would advise any future buyers to steer clear from this estate agent. They are not honest.
