Lead by example, Mr Isaacs, does. Having been a tenant of Robson Estates, for a number of years, I am fortunate, to know, and class the laudable people behind the success. The face of this desirable firm, Admiral Karen, is, without doubt, prolific in ensuring the good people who she helps are happy in their home. They don't care about you. They are incompetent, it is a miracle that they are still on the market. It is difficult to reach them, most of the time they don't answer the phone and usually there is no one at the office. Don't recommend them at all, this one star is more than they deserve!... 2 weeks of trying to get the wifi put back on, will not even get back in touch with me to discuss problem. Dumped rubbish outbof the house in garden about 3weeks ago and still wont remove it, cant even manage to talk to anyone about this matter, . Do not use if you are a property owner looking to use them as a management agency or a tenent looking for a shared property. They will let drug dealers move in to your property and do nothing about it, leaving them to cause damage which you will have to pay for, It took them over a year to get a window fixed . They will tell tenants they are going to remove said drug dealers and do nothing leaving you to live in horrible conditions being kept awake all night with constant smack heads coming and going. They only care about the rent 1 star isn't low enough... Read more

We were looking at properties in Doncaster to rent and had been to a couple of estate agents with no luck. It wasn't until we spoke to Helen at Robson Estate agents that we actually found someone who was interested in our needs, not just a sale. Throughout our tenancy we have has lots of contact with Helen. Any queries or worries we had were dealt with promptly. At Robsons when we rent a property we will have undertaken a property inspection report . This report is in general 60plus pages in length with pictures of all the internal rooms along with external photos . We also do a final inspection report of the same . We do this because we can then compare and contrast . These reports are completed by an third party . In the case of disputes regarding deposits it is necessary to use these reports to gauge a fair cost if damages are done to the property by a tenant . No charges are ever made for fair wear and tear . Charges are only made for damages , whether this is decoration or cleanliness of the property once vacated. Poor reviews in general do come in by disgruntled ex tenants who have been charged for damages . On occasion we have been asked to go to tribunal via the property ombudsman which we are a member . We abide with all their findings and provide the moving in and vacating reports to justify any charges made . There is absolutely no point trying to "scam" anyone as we have to abide and respect our membership to the Property Ombudsman . I hope this puts our position in regards to deposits .... Read more

these aren't even worth the one star to be completely honest. moved in during the winter months and got hit with damp and black mould excessively which left me and my partner I'll for some months. rang the agents to which they replied "just clean it with some bleach".. which then stripped the paint in several places.. a few days later a man came round to see the damp, and his answer was "keep your windows open all day or it will never dry" in February?!? did he not understand how much heating costs? his reply to that was to just wear a coat. laughable. the electric system is on a meter to which I had to ring the agents and ask the landlord to bring me tokens, abit dodgy if you ask me. to which she would take up to five days to put the electric on sometimes, leaving us with no electric and no emergency.. two weeks before we were due to move out our electric ran out FIVE DAYS AFTER ASKING FOR IT TO BE PUT ON, leaving us with no choice but to have to move into our parents when there wasn't even any room for us, as there was no emergency.. now they conveniently want our bond money to pay for decorating, which somehow amounts to over £400.. Rented a damp flat with no heating wasn't allowed the electric key so had to get electric thru the landlord which left with no electric all wknd as asked to put some on on the Thursday and wasn't done so Friday it ran out with no emergency numbers to ring. Now trying to charge the exact amount of the value of the bond for redecoration after only being there 6 months funny how the total is the same? disgraceful me amd my partner payed are rent we were never no trouble hpuse kept tidy garden maintain well, we called them on many occasions due to problems that they never fixed, when we did move we were refused are deposit back cause of the problem they never fixed and they blamed on us and said the property was left with stains on carpets which they wasnt cause my mother in law got a carpet cleaning conpany to clean them the day we moved and we had nothin but harassment from robsons by letter sayin we owed them £600 odd pound for a carpet cleaner to clean the place would never use them again and i now know why prople dont!!!!!!!!!!... An absolute disgrace of a company. I was a tenant of theirs for 3 years and kept my flat clean, tidy and in good repair at all times. The agent offered no support with arranging any kind of maintenance work and no inspections were carried out at any point. Anything that needed to be done was done by the landlord himself, for whom I have sympathy. Upon leaving, my deposit was not repaid within the timescale required under my tenancy agreement and despite chasing the agent by telephone I was given no explanation. Eventually it emerged that a leaving inspection had not been arranged until some four weeks after the end of my tenancy, by which time I could see that people had been into the property as there were 'To Let' signs inside the window. When the inspection had been carried out and my deposit was refunded, the sum of £120.00 was withheld for 'cleaning' - with no explanation at all. I therefore raised a dispute in the MyDeposits arbitration scheme, which the agents did not even bother to engage with and I was, 3 months after my tenancy ended, refunded the remaining £120.00. Most properties that this agency list are available with other agencies. Avoid these clowns at all costs.... Read more
