At first Rolfe East seemed like the perfect agents to let my property: welcoming, paid attention to detail and took the time to go through the renting process with me as I was a first- time land lady. However as soon as they secured my business things went downhill. Rolfe East would not answer my calls regarding rather important issues such as incorrect amounts deducted from my monthly statements, I was dealing with a different person every time I did manage to get through (often after multiple redirections and phone calls- on average I probably spent 1-2 hours on the phone to them per week. This made the renting process extremely stressful for me... not to mention the fact that I am paying £150 per month management fee to Rolfe East for what appears to be no work on their part.) My last resort to try and communicate with the agents was to write a strongly worded email to the 12 people from the company that I had been dealing with at various points, including the directors: Simon East, Ashley Rolfe, Andy Wakefield and yer not one person replied to me. I followed this up with yet another email when I received another incorrect monthly invoice and yet again not even the directors bothered to contact me. This company boasts customer service awards- frankly that is laughable. DO NOT USE ROLFE EAST unless you want to waste your money and time and gain a whole lot of stress.
