We have been very fortunate to have Kelly and her team handling our sale, from the very first moment they visited (December 2023) to completion (September 2024) they have been the only beacon of hope and support throughout what has been otherwise a truly horrific 8-month process, spent ripping our hair out between negligent conveyancers and rude solicitors. But Kelly has been relentless, she was never afraid to pick up the phone or chase them every day, no matter the difficulties. She updated us regularly at any time, we really felt we had her in our corner (I bet if it were all up to her we would have completed in two months.) Cannot recommend Kelly and her team enough, they have also been very personable and supportive throughout almost a whole year. Do yourself a favour and have a chat with them, you won't regret the choice.

I have finally moved out of my flat. I would not recommend getting a property with Ealing Barnard Marcus.
The manager is very rude and unprofessional. I have had to chase him about simple issues or questions for days even weeks sometimes.
I called him 4 days in a row and each time I was told he’s off sick. One day I stopped outside the office called the office and was told he is still off sick, which was a lie I was literally looking into the office and saw him talking and laughing with his other colleagues.
Sara was the only person who would help me on the phone or in person. She was professional and really helpful.

Frustrating experience renting with BM in Ealing. They're pretty aggressive and persistent when wanting to take your money eg. the holding deposit - wouldn't allow you even a few hours to think. Different story when you would like to have your money back. The (overseas) landlord of the property I had rented was very slow to return my deposit, although there no damages in the property and hence no dispute either.
They took more than two months, preparing and then sitting on an absurdly long and detailed inventory (which established that everything was ok - this could've been done right away when I moved out with a few minutes inspection).
This was against TDS regulations that the deposit should be returned in 10 days. In this period I tried to contact BM to help me contact the landlord and speed up the process.
My emails and requests were simply ignored, up to the point when I told them I'd raise a dispute with TDS which finally prompted them to call the landlord and get sth done.
I eventually got the deposit back, but after a frustrating 2-month period of being ignored by BM. Also, every agent I was in contact with left the company after a short time, there seemed to be a very high turnover - i wonder why.
It seems if you are a tenant BM Ealing just want to get your money ASAP and will ignore you from that point on and treat you with little to no respect.

Simona has been exceptional in navigating the problem and has been able to offer excellent practical advice to us which has done a great deal to soothe our anxiety and work towards finding a workable solution to the issue.

She seemed to have an inability to enagage in a proper manner and probably has a personality disorder or bi-polar. I had a very bad phone call consultation with this agent. I was informed in the first phone call that I dialed the wrong service line (I should contact the letting team but the lady told me they are sale team). The lady said that the letting team will come back to me ASAP but I never got the call. So I made another call, and this time the lady directly hanged up the call although I was just confirming whether it was the right team to pick up. And then I made the third phone call and this time no one answered. This is quite rude and unprofessional. I do really doubt their derive quality and professionalism.

Made an enquiry to sell my property. Unfortunately they didn't respond in time which wasn't an issue. Since then however have continued to call me, contact me about sales, despite asking over 5 times on separate occasions to take me off their lists. I had to send a long detailed email explaining how many times they had contacted me, that it was bordering on harassment and was definitely breaking GDPR rules and yet another call today!!! I appreciate estate agents have to be persistent but this is an awful turn off and they have called me so many times I felt it necessary to write a review as they are relentless! Would not recommend.
*Just to add to the response from Barnard Marcus, they said they have it logged they called me 6 times. Each and every time they called me on these 6 times I specifically asked for them to take me off all call lists and they did not....they continued to hound me as noted. Surely it is illegal to continue holding data after I have requested both verbally and in writing not to contact me again. Awful.

Had a 'pleasure' to deal with individual called Shaquille who didnt turn up to a viewing without warning or appology. When we called to ask when is he coming as we are at the property waiting, he said he finished work and will not come.He was very abusive and super rude with zero customer care or professionalism!! I recommend you avoid dealing with this arrogant individual.

What can I say about my experience with Barnard Marcus? Well, I could say terrible - but that would be a fatal untruth!
Desperately seeking a 2-bed in west London had been proving to be an aimless task. But then along came this Ealing flat with another agent which seemed like it could be a good fit.
It went before we could even view it - a common trope we had been experiencing.
Then, something similar popped up (of which I haven't yet worked out if it was the same property or one in the same complex) with Barnard Marcus.
We put down an offer thinking that it would be gone if we weren't quick enough. My friend was happy to do this without seeing the place, but I had my reservations, so I was thankful that the agents were eager for us to have a look in person as they thought we were a good fit.
We had a look. They spoke to the landlord. The deal was done. How quickly? Almost too quickly...! ????
It was a thrill and my friend and I were glad to come along for the ride.
But there's one glaring omission to this story. The man who helped us along the way.
Who were they? Why, the Lettings Branch Manager, of course!
And who's that? Why, that would be Anthony Wozniak (MARLA, to include the postnominals...)!
I have nothing but good things to say about Anthony - he has been everything you could ever wish for: helpful, patient - and gosh darn quick!
It's the start of a wonderful (flat-based) relationship, and I'm sure Anthony will go on to please many more looking for a flat in the Ealing area.
Thanks, Anthony, for being there at the start of this new chapter in mine and my friend's story. Oh, and this isn't the last you'll hear from me - you don't know what you've let yourself into...* ????

They have asked me to pay a deposit three months ago and they've referred me to an agency for the referencing, after completing all this and wasting much time, they asked me to transfer the deposit with one month rent in advance, I've done all of that and prepared my self to move, just before three days they pulled out and not even apologized or compensate my wasted time, money and effort. when we had issues with our help to buy application all the staff kept shifting the responsibility onto others, including the manager who told us she had nothing to do with it. we had to solve the issue ourselves after 4 failed applications at the fault of Barnard Marcus, which took 2 months to do.
The same happened when we had issues with the solicitors which they recommended themselves!

For me and my partner, English is the second language. In addition, we had no idea about the property market in the UK and how the purchase of real estate in this country looks like.
Therefore, our priority was to find someone who would not only treat us as another client to earn money, but would have a professional, individualized approach to the client. Someone who takes into account our not entirely perfect knowledge of the language, but also our complete lack of knowledge in applying for a mortgage.
We came to Priscilla by accident, with no recommendation. We just entered practically from the street. One of the best thing that could happened to us.
Priscilla explained every detail step by step, without specialized vocabulary, which would probably be secret to us even in our native language (well, not everyone is a financier or an economist :-) ). What's more, we were applying for a mortgage in a hard lockdown time. It wasn't a good moment to easily get a mortgage, yet Priscilla done it!!!

I have called them 3 times and left my details 3 time, no call back! Call them the 4th time arrange a viewing, the agent doesn't show up!!! Absolutely pathetic excuse for estate agents!

the low score reflects my awfully poor experience with Barnard Marcus having used both their sales and lettings. I first instructed Barnard Marcus in April 2018 for the sale of my property, and decided to rent through them whilst waiting out the slow market pace.
What was offered to me during the 6 months before de-instructing them, was utter chaos. I was constantly given the typical high street estate agent empty promises by the guy that got me to sign up in the first place. half way through the process, I found out that he no longer worked at the firm. In shear panic, I tried following this up with the branch manager who did not have an overview! rather bizarre as I did not expect this to be the case. Moreover, the branch manager came across as dismissive and uninterested. On top of all, my property was marketed at a wrong price for a period of time before I was informed and had to contact the estate agent and ask for correction. Empathy is not something I experienced even when I emphasised on the time lost. I was not offered truce or some measures to rectify the issue, when I first expressed my intentions to de-instruct them and instead was met with a shrug!
what I experienced was misalignment and lack of coordination that spanned the entire structure, embedded at the core. In dealing with Barnard Marcus, I suffered a great deal of stress whilst not a single viewing was booked in.
My biggest mistake was to ever sign up with them.

I would not trust them at all, especially not William.
They like to keep information away from you which only comes out when you already put down the holding deposit! If you want to rent out the Grange road flat make sure to ask about the garden straight away otherwise they will come back saying they will confirm it and then it will be too late to figure out that the garden looks like a forest. They just go for the money and not to actually to help you find a nice flat.

WARNING: This has got to be the worst estate agents ever, the people at Barnard Marcus are from the corporate gutter and have no idea how to sell a property, James Cooley, Suzi Zotti Asunter then Dan Glewis he tries his best though not experienced enough to rent property including the trainee with the glasses, who has the fake laugh and fake gold watch, look out for bad mortgage advice also, they do not get the best deals as they claim, no wonder Barnard Marcus soon going bankrupt, I will never use this estate agents again, use another agent.

The flat was not professionally cleaned, most of the appliances were broken, horrible smells, the agency not corresponding on time and not caring about anything as long as they get paid, do not rent from this agency unless you want to feel depressed and exhausted from such a horrible treatment from these unprofessional people, took at least two months to get a response about the deposit. Awful!

I wish to thank Mr Himanshu Rastogi for taking me through the process of securing my mortgage offer.
From my very first meeting in Aug 2017 at the Ealing Branch to a follow-up-care phone call I received just a few minutes ago (Janu 2018), Mr Rastogi has been so caring, courteous and has always maintained the highest level of professionalism. He has not only remained honest but managed my expectations well when giving me mortgage advice.
I have been overwhelmed by the additional help and care that Mr Rastogi has shown whilst I looked for a suitable property to purchase. He often went out of his way, at no extra cost, to search for properties and sent me email links to properties matching my criteria, he even spoke to estate agents on my behalf - a task that can be rather daunting at times.
This is an exceptional service and a wonderful example of 'understanding the needs of ones client'
The 'life time' membership fee is well worth it if you are fortunate to have Mr Rastogi looking after you.
Mr Rastogi is an asset to not only Barnard Marcus but to the sector and I will definitely continue to use the Financial Broker Services of Mr Rastogi into the future.

Overall, it was a pleasent experience finding an apartment to rent. I walked into this office on a Friday morning and on the same evening I had found the appartment I wanted to rent. Ricardo as my agent did a great job and showed me four different apartments which were all within my requirements. I was on holiday before moving into the property, but we still kept in touch about the paperwork and everything that had to get done beforehand. I appreciate his consideration for my holiday-situation.
Two things I wasn't happy with: 1. I was told that the apartment would be professionally cleaned on moving-date which turned out not to be the case.
2. After confirming the tenancy, I received an Email from Barnard Marcus suggesting 'Home Telecom' as company to set up the internet. This internet company turned out to be a complete rip-off and the most disappointing thing is that the area I am living in is not even a BT area. I had hoped for a better recommendation- given that its a local agency that should know the area.
