If I could give 0 stars, I would. I opted to withdraw my offer on a property despite being so over the moon it was accepted and loving the house. So sorry to the seller, but it was not worth risking my mental health in dealing with an abrupt, pompous individual. Didn’t even acknowledge my email, though unsurprising given the communication thus far! Shame Rightmove doesn’t allow you to filter out agents!... Read more

Utterly pathetic experience trying to rent a flat. Three weeks of trying to view the flat, the viewings either being cancelled last minute or the letting agent simply not turning up. During this time, I made over thirty phone calls to the agents as they would regularly not phone me back when they said they would. After all of this, the landlord went with somebody else. Don't bother with them.... Read more

Seems to be permanently closed. Called an alternate branch who were extremely dismissive, rude and made it clear that they are far too busy to actually respond to enquiries. Can't see it being a good option for tenants, owners, buyers per sellers. Seems that they trading on reputation of a company with a very similar name. Personally, I would avoid as they have been rude, frustrating and appear to advertise multiple properties that they don't have. Total waste of time and incredibly unprofessional.... Read more

And we are resigned to finishing the AST agreement . A total disgrace . Asking the Council to help us sort it out .... Read more

Rang them multiple times to ask about a letting property over 2 weeks, finally got through to older gentlemen who took a message and never got back. Feel sorry for landlords depending on them to find a tenant.... Read more

I can't stress enough how much you should avoid this outfit if you are considering letting your property out. We used them and have utterly regretted it ever since. They are nice as pie when you first approach them, but once we showed an interest the dreadful Roger Sansome (presumably a relation of the MD, David Sansome)took over our case. Annoyances have included him being lazy in returning calls and failing to field the simplest emails from what was then our potential renter. We have had to answer questions that even the most inept Estate Agent should have been more than capable of responding to. More major issues have included being far less than transparent about costs. He gave us a list of costs face to face, but when the final bill came through there were both additional and inflated costs. He referred us to the contract. In principle, that's fine, but in reality he should have either referred us to a written breakdown or given us the full picture face to face. There were at least two charges that increased significantly, but without our authorisation to do so. Oh, and make sure you read the smallprint - because they happened to omit to inform us of many hidden charges. For me, the most irritating and disrespectful issue is that they seem to think that the renter is their customer, not us. However, it's us that pay 10% of the rental value to them every month (and get nothing but problems in return). We certainly can't wait for the six month contract to end. I would advise all potential customers of this company to stay well clear - there are plenty of other more customer focussed agents in this part of the world. We're now taking our case to the Financial Services Authority - that's just how bad this has been for us.... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
