This is the most unprofessional lettings agency I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I should have known things were awry when they referred me to their sister branch to sign the contract as they didn't have a lettings agent then.
The property was not cleaned before my moving in. That was the first red flag that stood out to us.
Once I needed to have a leak in the kitchen sink repaired but it never happened despite my notifying Parkers Burghfield Common multiple times.
They told me that they would do quarterly property inspections (which is excessive to begin with) and then said to me that they'd visit every two months.
If anything, this whole experience has been the motivation I needed to keep building the deposit for my first home. Guess who I won't be buying my first home through?

We chose to sell at a difficult time as prices were dropping so making a valuation was difficult. The video of the property and the introduction to the area was superb. Those of other agencies that we have seen are nowhere near as good. Even though the market was slack, the staff put lots of enthusiasm into it and continued to arrange viewings and did not show any signs of faltering when the chain broke.. The advice was sound, relevant and most importantly, honest and they supported our choice to go to auction and act as the agent for the auction house. It was reassuring to have them behind the decision. A fantastic team.

Very professional all the way through the sales process. The quality of the house photos and walkthrough were excellent. The house viewings were well managed and timely feedback was provided. Once I accepted an offer there was frequent follow up to keep me in the picture as to where the process had got to and what if anything was required from my side.

I have now had a visit from a young man from Parkers who explained the situation. The fact that this young man took the trouble to come to see me in person shows that the situation was out of thier hands and now I am more than happy to withdraw my original review and give them a five star rating.

I approached Parkers because I wanted a fresh view on the sale of our house, as we were not making the progress we wanted. I was told that Stu was the man and even though I said I really wanted candid opinion, I honestly didn't expect it, but we received it in buckets! Our house sold immediately, fell through due to Covid relocation, and then sold very quickly again. Stu is a top man, on top of his game and great to deal with. As with some of the other comments, a very refreshing change! I'm a cynic at heart but can't recommend highly enough. Apologies that the pastries never arrived however, Stu :-)

Stuart and Kyle and the rest of the team were excellent. They sold my house for asking in less than 10 days to someone they contacted rather than someone who saw it on Rightmove and likewise the property they sold me, Stuart mentioned it when I called about a different property which shows that Parkers added value over and above simply a route onto Rightmove. The exchange process dragged on as a chain of 6 or 7 can do but Parkers kept momentum going, kept chasing solicitors and ensured clients were kept informed and all working toward the same completion date. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again, I firmly believe that they provided so much more than an internet-only estate agent would have done. Thanks to everyone at the Burghfield office for their hard work and excellent service.

In a very difficult market it took ages to sell our property but Dale, Chrissie and the rest of the team at Parkers kept going and were always available to discuss things with us. We purchased our property through Parkers, Initially we found them pushy, we were on the market with another agent and from the moment we tentatively viewed through them, every update email came with persuasive measures to try and go joint agency, we also found that when a competitive offer came on the scene our position was somewhat twisted a little to the owners of the property we were trying to buy to make us seem less viable as we were the longer option. From the point of our offer being officially accepted the Sales Progression was great, we had very awkward solicitors and Dale helped to keep us informed of the progress as it moved along. Overall a good experience with them.

We have just moved into to our lovely new home and the team from Parkers supported us every step along the way. They say buying a house is one of the most stressful experiences - it kind of is - and that is why you need a team of experienced and competent experts on your side guiding you through the process. I know these internet companies are doing it cheaper. but I very much doubt you will receive the same level of service. Dale was always on the end of the phone and always ready to jump to chase answers from all angles. He kept everyone in the chain informed and moving to the same beat, everyone in the chain was then engaged and doing everything to keep the transaction on track.
When Dale was unavailable (very rarely), Patrick and Zoe were equally informed about the status and equally proactive in keeping everything on track.

We had what turned out to be one of the most complex and stressful moves in history but Parkers in Theale and Burghfield worked really hard to keep our stress levels down and manage the chain effectively. I first starting speaking with Chrissie who was amazing and despite the length of time from initial viewing to completion she kept in touch regularly. We had a terrible agent selling our home initially and it was after the brilliant service Chrissie gave that we sacked them and put our property on with Parkers too. I believe that you only really experience how good an organisation is when something goes wrong as it's then that you see true customer service and we had many of those blips throughout the process! Parkers did a great job throughout and I'd not hesitate to use them again.

In the past I have always been sceptical about the value of estate agents, that was until my recent purchase. I bought my current property through Parkers in Burghfield Common. Almost from the outset I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff, they accommodated every request I made, even to the extent that I was able to get a viewing for my daughter and family on a Sunday. When I made this request there was no shortage of volunteers in the office to come in their own time to facilitate my request. The actual purchase process hit quite a few snags, some quite serious, but my contact at the office, Dale Kempson, was always there to help drive the process forward to a successful conclusion. I have nothing but admiration for the whole office, what could have been an exceptionally stressful process was eased by their sheer professionalism.

From viewing to completion (which went on for months due to open chain), Parkers were patient and kept us informed on a weekly basis. It was a pleasure to deal with the small and friendly team at Parkers Burghfield - without the annoying corporate sales pitch prevalent in the property industry. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a property in the area.

We have just bought our first home via Parkers in Burghfield. We got a great deal of support from their team, especially Dale Kempson, who was always very responsive and helpful. Because we were first time buyers we had a lot of questions and fears, but the friendly team in Burgfield made the whole experience much more bearable for us. Dale and the team were fantastic supporting my wife and I through the sale of the property despite being in different countries at the time. Dale spent significant effort supporting the rest of our chain to make sure the sale was concluded in a time that worked for all parties.
