We dealt with David while looking for a property, and he was helpful beyond what could have been expected, clear and communicative and kind. We have dealt with a lot of estate agents and not always had good experiences, but David was delightful and by far the best agent we have come across. It's a pleasure to write this review of David at Sensible Move Estate Agents. He was a pleasure to work with. When we purchased our new house in Plymouth, David was the vendor's estate agent. He made the process really straight forward, kept us well informed, was prompt in answering all our questions and went the extra mile to ensure that the house sale went through and there were no unforeseen circumstances to derail the process. We lived abroad at the time but David found ways to simplify this and ensure we were unto date with all developments. Throughout he was honest, ethical and very professional. His courtesy, friendliness and consideration benefited both ourselves and the vendors he represented. We had previously sold houses in Bristol and had experienced some pretty poor behaviour from the estate agents that we had commissioned. David was a breath of fresh air. He additionally assisted us in finding both a solicitor and a surveyor. We are now restoring the property and hope that when it is complete David can visit us to see its transformation. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending David and should we sell in future we would definitely use Sensible Move.

Firstly due to one technical reason or other it has taken 6 months to get this review published.
I strongly recommend David of Sensible Move takes charge of your house sale. We instructed him just before the pandemic hit, he was the most honest and pragmatic, from the outset, of the three estate agents we used for valuation. The marketing of our house was professionally done. Obviously with lockdown viewings were hard to come by but with perseverance the third party to visit us eventually bought the house, just under asking price, but much much more than the valuation by a high street agent.
It was always going to be tricky moving house during the pandemic but David kept us informed and from initial visit by David to the day we moved was 9 months.
Sensible Move are cheaper than the typical high street agents, add to that the level of service given by David I can honestly say that Sensible Move are incredible value for money. I hope I don’t move again but if I did I would go straight to Sensible Move.
