We are currently in the process of buying a house with Sovereign living in Andover.
I feel the whole way through they have kept me very up to date via phone and email! They have been outstanding, especially Andrew Turner. I couldn't fault him at all.
Thanks for your outstanding customer care and friendly attitude. It really makes a difference and I have felt heard and listened to which is so important as a customer.
I would recommend anybody buying a house to use them.... Read more

Do not even think about getting a property with this company. Had serious problems with are new build being Structurally unsafe for over 2 months now and they have no care in fixing the problems. . Plus extractor fan in the loft catching fire which apparently isn't important to be removed and replaced..... Read more

BE VERY AWARE. Shared ownership is a great initiative, and without it, my wife and I wouldn't be on the property ladder now. BUT. Pay careful attention to the small print. The added charges like admin fees and YOU pay all their solicitor fees. We had to extend our lease before we sold, we paid all their legal fees and a hefty premium to what is supposed to be a non profit organisation. Then when you want to sell, you HAVE to have a survey done at cost to you that determines the value of the property. Estate agents arent good enough for Sovereign. They have to have 4 weeks to market the property before you can go on the open market. In that time, they do nothing. You take the photos, you write the description and you do the viewings. Bit you still have to pay them 1% of the selling price. Utter rip off merchants, avoid like the plague.... Read more

Worst company ever! Bought a new build shared ownership and problem after problem they have no interest in fixing! Thermostat that doesnt work so no heating, fan oven makes a noise like its about to blow up, kitchen tap bent, window vent bent and for some reason someones bright idea for a new build was to make it not ready for sky q! They fob you off saying they have 28 days to come back despit i new no heating is more than a minor issue and again this was first raised well over six weeks. Sure they will be all over me if i didnt make payments...... stay away not even worth the hassle! Dont know how these flats were signed off - pretty sure they should of been checked and tested! Not even worth one star!... Read more

I was allocated a 15 minute slot to view a 2 bedroom house and was running 9 minutes late due to traffic. This company refused to show me the house. I will be renting from another estate agent. I am amazed that this company was happy to throw business away.... Read more

Went to view a house at the time given to me by the agency, took time off work as they only held viewings for one hour every Monday and I was stood in the rain for 40 minutes while no one showed. Couldn’t get through to the staff on the phone to find out what was going on, even after waiting on hold for 20 minutes. Only after I emailed them then and there did they email me back to say they moved my viewing to Thursday, with not so much as an apology anywhere in the email. No thank you! Can’t imagine what they’d be like to rely on after I’d moved in, no wonder the house had been up for rent for so long!... Read more

Friendly staff, but did virtually no maintenance - had a dripping leak from the ceiling for the best part of a year that they clearly had no intention of fixing until we'd moved out. Fairly high fees for a letting agency, including a hefty checkout fee.... Read more
