15th Apr 2025 (8 days ago)I have been delighted with Davis Tate . They have found me a tenant for a 6 month rent which is a difficult short time scale. Emma Durcan approached me and has been responsible for the smooth running of all the procedures needed . The management and accounts team have been charming and efficient too. After viewing the house we were travelling overseas and were able to undertake all of the paperwork and processes from there. Luke was incredibly supportive and always on hand to help (as was Nicolette). As first time buyers they made the whole experience positive and we highly recommend them! Thank you!

Initially with property valuation from John, who was very honest with his advice and knowledge of the area and the sales process. John was fantastic through the whole sales process, finding me a genuine buyer and keeping me informed along the way. He helped keep the chain together with both the sale and my purchase of a new home, without John we wouldn't have met the demands and time lines given to us. Would never hesitate to use Austin Hawk again, Thanks again to John and the wider team.

27th Mar 2025 (27 days ago)Ah Lansley the Best estate agent! I can’t stay without writing few words who really deserve. Christian! who helped me to buy my first home. I’m very pleased with his friendly and helping attitude. My process was very lengthy because of the probate, it was frustrating ,but he helped me a lot throughout the process, he was very quick to respond and follow up with my case. He was keep chasing the solicitors and updating on me time to time, I would say he is very professional, and problem solving with the best communication skill.

12th Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)I have nothing but praise for the way the sale of my house was dealt with and the speed of the sale. My only complaint is that I have to find a new home and I don’t yet know when I can make an offer as I don’t know how long it will take to get the money into my account so I can proceed with an offer. I am a bit of a limbo as it’s my first time being in this situation..
22nd Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Where to start...We had an appauling service from another estate agent, and by the time we contacted Downers, I had reeached the end of my tether. I was not sure if we were heading into more of the same. However, Downers have been an absolute tonic. Nicky Padbury, being the first person I spoke to, kindly listened to all my worries (almost like some kind of therapist and poor lady), and she put me at ease right away. Nicky then introduced us to Richard. Richard took control and eased us through the marketing and sale of our house in a most professional manner. The photography was excellent; Richard took his time and picked the best weather to take the best shots. Once the brocure has been approved, bookings for viewings started coming through in volume. We had more booked in the first couple of days than we had seen in 3 months from our previous estate agent. The house sold within 10 days of hitting the market with Downer. We really could not be more pleased. Thanks also go to Fraser, who kept us informed of progress and was happy to answer any queeries we had as things moved forward. What a great team!
25th Jan 2021 (4 years ago)Did not get the floor plan right. Missed a room. Agent apologised and offered to waive fee and then backed out of it when we took the house off the market.

15th Apr 2025 (8 days ago)Tom was so very helpful and professional when helping us secure our rental property. He kept us well informed when things were progressing. We would definitely look at contacting Tom again in the future if/when we require to rent another property

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
27th Mar 2025 (27 days ago)We where having no luck finding anywhere. When we found places we never heard back from them until we got in touch with henwick properties they were really good. Connie replied to our emails very quickly and helped us find somewhere. Was really good at booking viewings last minute to fit around us. Happily showed us around same properties twice at different times to make sure we sure about it. She made a very stressful time a lot easier for us So thank you very much for all your help

The team is very good at communicating and always replied to messages quickly as well as offering weekly updates on the progress. The advertising/marketing was great and the pictures were very professional looking.
24th Mar 2025 (30 days ago)After inviting 4 agents to view the house to discuss their approach to selling and how they would reach the right buyers we quickly decided that Craig at Ewemove was right for us. He displayed expert knowledge of our local area, had sold other properties on the lane and had clearly done his research before coming round. The process was very efficient and the lady who came to do the photos was well equipped and professional, the photos came out great. Craig put us in contact with excellent solicitors who were also extremely efficient. We had viewings within days of going on market and accepted an offer within a couple of weeks from buyers perfect for the house and lane. We had great neighbours and it was important to us to sell to people who we felt would fit in and who our, more advanced in years, neighbours would feel they could call on if they ever needed a bin moved, Craig found the perfect couple. As the house we were due to buy hit a major delay he also worked with us to give us space to find a rental, as we were moving country as well as house, so it was was not something we could just rush. All round a great experience and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Craig and Ewemove team. Thanks again Craig.
