30th Jan 2020 (6 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.

19th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Outstanding Service. I have used Belvoir Tadley to market my rental properties previously and would not use anyone else. Initially meeting with Pippa to discuss the property and my requirements as a landlord, she took everything on board, was very professional and focussed on my preferences. She was always there to give me sound advice when needed and I always felt like a valued customer. The viewings were made by Barbora. She is amazing! Kept me informed, answered my emails quickly, always very friendly and very knowledgeable. I also felt that Barbora knew the kind of tenant I was looking for and gave me great advice. She went above and beyond many times and is a huge asset to Belvoir. My last tenancy was very challenging, through no fault of Belvoir's and both Barbora and Pippa worked tirelessly to get everything sorted out. I am really happy with the new tenants I have, they are just what I was looking for. They took us right up to exchange and then the seller suddenly demanded £10,000 more for the property or he would pull out. We refused to be bullied like this, so ended up losing a large amount of money as a result of wasted searches and solicitor’s fees. We had the searches done promptly and did everything in our power to proceed with the sale in a timely manner, and they still treated us in an absolutely disgusting way and acted with zero integrity. Hillier and Wilson fully sided with the seller and fully supported him in attempting to rip us off, they didn’t even offer us an apology.

15th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)People say that moving house is in the top 3 of most stressful things you can go through. Modern thinking has thankfully come up with methods to counteract and reduce stress in our lives. Deep breathing, yoga, music etc all help however for your home move the only thing you need is KATIE from Strutt Parker. Our journey started a few years back with a friendly and professional visit from the SP team. Despite being at the lower end of the market we were very impressed with the advice and services offered and despite a volatile market a buyer was found. Unfortunately due to bad survey we were forced to pull out of our purchase and subsequently our chain collapsed despite the best efforts from Katie. Despite the massive disappointment Katie was so supportive and understanding of the situation. There was no question of who we would call when we were ready to market again. 18 months later Katie was again amazing when we called and a pragmatic and honest conversation about the market was had and we were back on. Despite the market, we found ourselves with 3 offers within days and the advice and understanding of our views and thinking was evident in Katie when deciding which option to take. Katie managed the sale with professionalism and determination and got us through the process with speed, efficiency and understanding. We highly recommend Katie to manage your next house sale.
15th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)No one really talks about the back end of the process when selling your home, when things don’t go smoothly it’s actually critical to the whole thing! Downers certainly are high achievers in this area of expertise, Fraser, the office manager is exceptional and I honestly don’t think we’d have completed the sale without him. That’s not a discredit to the rest of the team who were also professional & helpful, exactly what you need. We just can’t thank Fraser enough, we would highly recommend them ??

I have let my property with Chancellors for over 10 years now and every time it needs to go on the market their customer service is excellent. They make the process easy, take initiative and their communication throughout is second to none. On the most recent let, Vassna at Chancellors (Newbury) was invaluable... I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

A special mention has to go to Emma, who was absolutely fantastic. She kept everything moving by consistently chasing where needed and made sure we were always kept up to date. Her communication was excellent, and it really made a difference during what can often be a stressful time. Would highly recommend. Jenny & Paul
