Now I finally have (some of) my deposit back I can write a review. No problems during the tenancy. Afterwards, however...
It was determined extra cleaning was required. I did not dispute this. SJM's quote? £900, the exact amount of my deposit, funnily enough. Talk of needing to rip baths out, cut holes in walls etc. Thank god I am a landlord myself and got a second opinion. I organised an independent cleaning contractor who reduced the quote by hundreds. I worry how much has been taken from those who are less able to stick up for themselves. Because of this, I do not trust SJM and I cannot recommend them.

The team at SJM have always provided us with great service - they are helpful, friendly and professional. They offer a calm and unflappable approach - house buying and selling can be stressful and having the team at SJM to help at every step of the way is always reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, and frequently do to friends and family.

Personally I cannot rate the team at Steven J Moore highly enough. The staff dealt with all our needs quickly, efficiently and professionally. More importantly, I have always felt they gave that extra personal touch whenever we needed help over the years. Can't thank them enough!

t has taken me weeks to leave a review, but I feel that I must. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have failed over and over again costing me tens of thousands of pounds. I have enough records and proof to take legal action and if they try to defend themselves I will use it as evidence. If you want an honest review, I say.. Try someone else.

This is the best estate agent I have ever come across. They provide customer service at its best with a very human touch that made me feel well looked after in the stress of looking for a new home. I can't recommend them enough

Dreadful, awful estate agent.
Steer clear!
We rented our flat out with them, they paid little attention to looking after our interests, they were rude (I won't mention names but they know who they are) usually took ages to respond to emails and then became short-tempered and aggressive when frustration was shown!
Little attention was paid to them doing their job and when things got particularly difficult and rude, S essentially said, here's the bosses details, complain if you like.
They weren't bothered about being decent or professional. It was only when we moved to a new estate agent we realised how things SHOULD be done and how much was ignored by Steven J Moore
Steer well clear. They're rude, don't do their job properly and are completely unprofessional
