I’m not a person who gets upset easily, but what started out as a seemingly great experience has unfortunately turned into a nightmare.
The apartment we are renting through Stirling Ackroyd is just not fit for purpose. In a twist of irony, this has been corroborated by the multiple contractors who have been sent by the agents/landlord to verify issues.
When you report issues, Stirling Ackroyd’s default response is to try and disclaim liability or trivialise complaints. They clearly do not want to be held accountable for fear it will land them in legal trouble.
This is the most demeaning rental experience I have had by far. I would recommend against.

I Should like to provide an excellent reference for Maria Sanchez. I registered with over 10 letting agents recently but she was the only one who actively searched for and sent me property details culminating in eventually succeeding in finding me suitable accommodation.
When Maria was away from work, I’d like to pay a special mention too for Samantha Aguilar who was also very helpful. Likewise, the director Diana Korvacheva was equally efficient. Overall, between them they made the whole search for accommodation a pleasant process. I can only thank them for their professionalism and help in securing for me accommodation as my present flat had been sold and there was a frustrating and urgent need to move.

Stirling have let my flat, no problems with the let as such. However, I think that landlords should be aware of the company’s policy: Stirling take their commission for a year upfront, however, if the tenants leave before the year is up Stirling will not refund the part of the commission for the time the tenants left early, unless they manage to find new tenants which may or may not be the case. The three stars are for the Company's policy, not for the performance of the Lettings Department.

I really don't like doing reviews, But this time I feel obliged to help other people like me , to have the great service, that Ivana Alexander, Diana and Sam give me. I really can't explain how they could be so helpful and friendly at all the times. Right now, it's not easy for anyone to rent a house in London, Lots of demand and offers far above what almost everyone can afford. When I went to look at my future home, I was pretty discouraged and sad about this whole situation of, you liking something, and someone making a bigger offer. I don't know why, but I actually told the Ivana what i should do, so as not to have to get more in that situation to like a house and someone else to simply auction it.
She with all the politeness and kindness, said don't worry, I'll help you solve this situation.
And that's really what happened, from the first moment they never left me without information and all the little details that didn't work out, they looked and finding a simple solution. And in the end I really found my home, my home to me and my wife.Definitely the best agency in London, But no place is perfect without the people who work there making it happen. And this agency has the best associates.
So I really just have to thanks these very attentive and helpful women who made me believe that a customer can be treated with great dedication and respect, and in the end leave with his home, without having to worry about people doing auctions from our home.

We approached Diana after seeing a flat that Townends were advertising for rent on RightMove. The flat came onto the market late on Thursday and Diana managed to fit us in for a viewing the very next day! As we were not local at the time, this was extremely helpful as we had other viewings that day in the area. Diana was very helpful and knowledgeable about the property, area and rental markets.
We were then helpfully guided through the process, with all of our questions answered very promptly. One thing that I think should be mentioned is that, even after moving in Diana sent a lovely email asking how things were going and how we were settling in. It's this added personal touch that really set Townends apart from other estate agents that we have rented with in the past. I would definitely recommend Townends, and particularly Diana, to anyone moving into the area!

I’ve used Townends as a Sole Agent to market my rental house for at least in the last 4 years. So far, they’ve been successful in finding good tenants in a timely manner. This is particularly applicable when Southfields Branch was relocated to Earlsfield and Diana took over as a Manager. Diana & team (Ivana in 2020) have been helpful and tend to go the extra miles for their clients.

I am one of 3 professionals sharing a property managed by Townends and our experience with them has been fantastic.
From meeting with Ivana and Diana from the Earlsfield branch, they immediately understood what we were looking for taking into account our combined needs, completely putting us at ease with their professionalism and warm approach. The viewings they offered were for entirely relevant properties and it didn't take long to find the one we wanted, they were then instrumental in helping us secure the tenancy all with delivering in very short preferred timeline of a week. The manner and speed of dealing with the registration and referencing for a shared tenancy, with a few curve balls, was impeccable, and meant that we were able to move in on our desired date. I have just moved from overseas to London and Ivana was INCREDIBLE! Went way above and beyond to help me find the perfect apartment and in budget!
My case wasn’t the easiest as I was looking while out of town (so Ivana FaceTimed me to show me apartments) and then was a fantastic as a in between with the lettings hub while they sorted my international references and credit checks etc.
I am sure she could have found a easier tenant but she was patience and supportive during this stressful time.
I should also say her colleague Diana was also brilliant - they worked seamlessly while the other was away to keep on top of my case.

I would like to share my perfect experience that Townends Estate Agents Earlsfield and personally Miss Diana Kovacheva provided me with.
At the time I signed the contract Diana already had arranged few viewings. I was so impress and I could not believe everything is happening so fast. Diana reassured me that we will have the right tenant until the end of the week which was hard for me to believe. During the following days Diana and her colleague Alvin always called me to arrange the viewings in the most convenient time with me. They were always taking in consideration my business and did succeed to make the viewings hassle free for me.
I was so amazed when Diana called me 5 days after we had met and she already had 2 offers on the table. Diana gave me her pros and cons for both offers and told me exactly what would have been her choice. I can definitely say that Diana was absolutely right about everything she had said. The negotiation process went without any doubts in the best possible way for me!
Until the completion of the rental agreement Diana and Alvin were more than helpful to provide me with all the needed information. They were doing it promptly and without any delays.
I believe that because of their experienced opinion I got not only the best possible tenants but also I received the most relax and professional services from their company.

This real estate is the worst. I haven't received the deposits for six months since I moved out of my property. They didn't do anything for tenants, but work only for landlords. You can't get any contact details of your landlord, and even those of the estate managers. They provide only the contact number of the so-called Head Office which never be connected. Do Not lose your time just for this real estate. Also, Do Not provide your card details to this company before you make a real contract for a property!

Absolutely abysmal - cancelled viewings minutes before happening when we were already there, impossible to get in touch with who you need to speak to, and the day before we were meant to move in (everything packed, removal vans booked etc), they tell us they havent completed our paperwork and we wont be able to move in, despite us voicing our concerns several times in the lead up that it was getting closer and closer to move in day and we hadn't signed our papers.
