We recently both bought and sold through Barnard Marcus. Despite taking a little longer than we would have liked to list our property online and a lot of initial back and forth (this was due to Covid, the admin team being on furlough and being shared with another branch) the process subsequently ran very smoothly without any issues or stress on our side. We dealt with Maria for our purchase and Finley for our sale and both were professional, great at communicating with us and just generally nice people to work with. We also felt that they communicated well with all other parties involved to ensure an efficient and seamless process allowing us to complete within a short amount of time. Thank you team!

My boyfriend and i didn't rent through Barnard Marcus in the end unfortunately. BUT i would just like to share and give praise to Kirsty O'Shaughnessy. We initially walked into the office on a Saturday and she approached us full of energy and with the biggest smile. She is professional, very charismatic and had us feeling confident in her finding us our first new home. (which is unusual for Estate Agents in modern times) She quickly got us booked in for a beautiful 2 bedroom flat and it was perfect for us. We didn't get picked for the property in the end. However that doesn't take away how great it was to of dealt with Kirsty. We wish you all the best at Barnard Marcus Earlsfield.

Let me start by saying this...This branch as a whole is great from start to finish.

However Kirsty on the other hand is absolutely out of this world amazing. Honestly if I could have a business myself I would hire a million Kirsty’s. This young lady is absolutely delightful to deal with and is an asset to the company and really defines what a professional in the world of estate agency should look and act like.

She made the process in letting our new home super easy and can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be using Barnard Marcus again in the future as my stress of finding a new home was put to easy with Kirsty.

A real star which should be held onto and valued and used as an example.

Their incompetence genuinely knows no bounds. I moved out of a property nearly a year ago and I'm still getting grief from these lot for stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with me - all the problems have been of Barnard Marcus' making. Avoid at all costs.

I'm not surprised to find other tanents have left negative comments about the property management. we also had our worst experience we ever had when we had things to fix in the flat. Basically when we had something broken in the flat, we never had anyone who would follow up the issues in a reasonable timely manner. It was very painful to log tickets, call the property management, and send numerous emails to chase every time. we had the old boiler in the flat stop working in December last year and we were left to live without hot water for two entire winter months! we did everything we can to cooperate, we have email evidences that we were left unanswered for days without progress to resolve the problem. we had to withhold our rent to finally get the boiler fixed in February. so eventually we decided to exercise the break clause and move out earlier, and then it came to the nightmare of getting our deposit back. It took more than 3 months to finally get them to release our deposit, again numerous calls and emails in the process. I don't know whether they pass our request onto the landlord in a reasonable time frame or the landlord just don't reply the agent, but for quite a few times only when I had to call them, they would reply that they are waiting on the landlord to reply, even after they have promised to action reasonably. You can imagine the frustrations!!
