I was really pleased with the service that Lance provided, he provides a bespoke and personal service, and has excellent knowledge of the local property market. My house was on the market with a large estate agent for over a year with no success, and yet Lance managed to negotiate a sale after very few viewings. I would highly recommend and use again.

I highly recommend Lance Trendall if you are selling your property. He is genuinely enthusiastic, honest and down-to-earth. We sold our house within hours of it going on the market, at the price we wanted to achieve. During the sale process, Lance's responsiveness, attention to detail and care meant he provided a truly personal service and he was very helpful in defusing one or two tricky situations when other parties in the chain got a little overheated. He made the process far less stressful than it otherwise might have been, and is a really lovely person to work with too. Thank you Lance, we really appreciated your involvement in our move.

I sold my mother's house in September 2019 on her behalf. Lance provided personal service throughout the sale process, finding a buyer rapidly, securing an excellent price and following up during the actual transaction to ensure it stayed on track. I really appreciated that Lance himself ran the process, and being able to speak to him directly rather than being passed from pillar to post around an office. I'd highly recommend The Land Office and Lance Trendall.

I have no hesitation in recommending Lance Trendall at the Land Office if you are buying or selling your property.
He is amazing, and through his local knowledge and diligence, sold my last house in Harpenden within a few weeks of it going on the market.
He is that rare breed - an Estate Agent who is kind, genuinely enthusiastic, caring, realistic trustworthy and reliable.
He has his finger on the pulse of the local (and not so local) property market, and will give genuinely sound advice, whether you are buying or selling.
Two friends of mine recently had their houses on the market for over a year - one in Hitchin and one in Harpenden- with other agents, before I recommended Lance. Both had more viewings in the first two weeks with him than they had had with their old agents in over a year. And both had sold their properties within 6 weeks.

Lance from Land Office gave excellent service during a very difficult transaction over several months during lockdown. He is friendly and so helpful - gives a personal service and is easy to get hold of. He is very knowledgeable and went over and above to complete the sale. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants an honest and efficient agent.

I had the previous company at this site (Country Properties) manage my property. They didn't do a good job.. the last tenant rewired the electrics in the garage (which would have invalidated the insurange), put a screw in the fuse box instead of a proper fuse, broke many items including the Garage door.. generally took no care of the place. Country Properties then told me "Inspections we're walk troughs" If The Land Office has any of the previous staff then please be warned.

Consistently not calling back with requested information. Not helpful when a large part of supporting property sales and rentals is based around prompt and reliable communication and information.
