12th Oct 2024 (18 weeks ago)It was an unfortunate start and things did go wrong but luckily we eventually sold the house for a reasonable price thanks to lots of help from Savills who stayed with us. It got very stressful at times because of delays etc. Would recommend this company of course.

22nd Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)We recently sold our property with Ashtons Harpenden, and they turned a very stressful process into a much easier one! From the initial valuation to the day we handed over the keys, the team were brilliant, particularly Greg, Jonny and Ryan. But that said, no matter which member of the team we were dealing with, the service was excellent. Viewing feedback and progress updates were given frequently, and it was always easy to get hold of someone if needed. Would highly recommend Ashtons for any future property services.

25th Jan 2025 (18 days ago)Very disappointed with the short experience with this Lettings agency. Viewed a property which was said to be available immediately, put offer in of full asking price and now am being told the landlord is in no rush to let and they are waiting for other offers. Really frustrated as we have been chasing everyday to see what is happening, we made it clear that we are in a rush to leave our existing property as landlord is selling however, still received very poor service from this agency. Iv dealt with a a few in the past, and this is by far the slowest, advertising vacant properties then saying the landlord isn’t in a rush. Also got told the landlord would be happy with an 18 month contract, this is what we offered from the get go. If you need to move in a particular time frame, I really wouldn’t recommend this company.

Very quickly, her expertise and professionalism reinforced that it was personality driven and she was extremely helpful and efficient throughout the entire sale process. Would recommend.

It took some time but we made it in the end. A shame he was out of the office, working again, when we picked up the keys but nice to meet David who did the honours. Small office, but big service ! From initial contact despite travelling he was great from outset. He was accommodating for us to view the property and has always answered any questions promptly. Didn't feel like we were working with a business for our home purchase, Ivor is down to earth, friendly yet still professional. We have saved his number and will definitely keep in touch. We are settled in our new home with huge thanks to Ivor for his support. Thank again Lafford James Team!

14th Nov 2024 (13 weeks ago)I'm a tenant in a property being sold by my landlord through Collinson Hall's sales team. Over the past year I have found communication to be extremely poor. Appointments to access the property have been cancelled last minute on several occasions. Viewings have been booked in but not confirmed with me (I've had to call to confirm and they seem surprised when I ask which of the offered times they have chosen), agents have arrived late to viewings or to unannounced viewings with lackluster apologies and excuses of being told someone should have rung me - they didn't. I've complained privately many times and received apologies but they now just seem meaningless as the same issues arise again and again. When my time is being wasted preparing for viewings that may or may not happen, and being left feeling disrespected as a tenant, I don't think I am being unfair by now choosing to make my displeasure public.

18th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.

When the first offer pulled out, they regathered their energy and got new viewings. In the end we had three competing offers. Good communication throughout.

5th Jan 2025 (5 weeks ago)We had a few viewings with another agent over 2 months, but no offers or negotiations. We moved to Mulburries and had a viewing within a couple of days. An acceptable offer was made and we sold! Great selling skills, hunger to work for the buyer and seller - outstanding. Forget the big, lethargic companies with no real desire and go to Mulburries. They will get you sold.
