I recently bought a flat in Woolwich. The main reason for buying the flat was the park view from the window. However, estate agent did not say anything about that the park is temporary and that tall residential buildings will be built in its place, although this has certainly been known for a long time. Of course, I understand that I should have found out about the matter myself, but I would have expected that such an important matter could have been mentioned. So soon I have the flat next to a construction site and at the same time I'll lose the wonderful park scenery, which is why I bought the flat. Worst flat purchase ever. Never trust an estate agent. In addition, The information that estate agents are obligated to pass on to buyers is varied. It includes things like whether there is planning permission or plans for development in the area. This is important for buyers, as it may affect their decision to want to buy and live somewhere if there is likely to be building work for a long period of time.... Read more
