I am incredibly grateful to Shaun at the Woolwich branch. He helped us get a wonderful house under great conditions. Even after we moved in, he handled the repairs and answered all our inquiries so well. I’m especially thankful for his responses to our questions during his days off and late at night. **UPDATE** See Benhams response below.
They have shared CONFIDENTIAL information without our consent (deposit amount) which probably sums up their approach. Please remove this immediately.
Also, apparently getting a deposit back makes up for the comprehensive damage done to our flat (guess what, the true quantum is multiples of the deposit).
Also- they refused to re-enter the flat for an inspection when we suspected subletting. I have this in writing should Benhams wish to dispute. And guess what, the flat was being sublet. There are so many examples of this sort of behaviour - and they were utterly reactive, waiting for us to chase them before ever coming back to us.
Other things to note- they did NOT get three quotes (as per service agreement) for works required. There are honestly more examples than you can count of poor service.
Genuinely awful.

Put nightmare tenants into our property and then were terrible when it came to dealing with the issue.
We ended up with a flat with burn marks in the walls and floors, punch marks on the walls and fridge, urine throughout the bed and carpet of one bedroom etc. The flat was also sublet too.
Honestly cannot believe the good reviews here.
Maybe we were just unlucky- but you want an agent who will be there for you if there are problems. Benhams are NOT that.

Not had the greatest experience. The beginning was great, the referencing process went smoothly and they were lovely at first however the issue started rolling in when we moved in. We were told some of the furniture came with the flat we moved in to, when we got there that was not the case. It turns out there was an issue with inventory and they promised to rectify it by buying us the promised furniture. We are still waiting for this however this could also be due to us taking our time picking out what we want. The first issue that arose was on the night I moved in. I was promised parking with the place, and was told that all I had to do was register the car with concierge. Concierge took their time giving me the parking sticker and placing me on the register (this is another issue i will cover later) and yet the next morning I woke up to a £60 fine. I made B&H aware who promised I'll get it cancelled once I appealed it. I appealed it with all the information that one of their agents told me to add and still the appeal was rejected, and if i wanted to appeal it again the fine would go up to £100. When I pointed out to the agency that this was through no fault of my own, I was blamed for not "placing a paper on my windscreen explaining that I was waiting for concierge to give me a parking sticker." Been renting with parking in these kind of establishments for over 7 years, never heard anything so ridiculous. Due to the concierge not placing me on the register as requested, I was stuck outside the car park at 11 Pm after I had been out for work since 7 am. I rang "emergency" security EIGHTY-SIX times and they did not pick up, but luckily someone came out the car park so I was able to go in. The few times I have spoken to security they have been extremely rude, which I have complained about and nothing. The £60 fine has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth, they didn't even offer to contribute towards it or even waiver some fees eg the gym sign up fee. I have also complained about the bathroom (which is mouldy) because it has no ventilation and the toilet water continuously runs, and nothing. There has now been a massive leak which I blame on their incompetence to act quicker. Just a pain overal, if I had known about these issues that I was going to face in a new-build (open since 2022) I would have gone somewhere else, especially for that price.... Read more
