My experience as a landlord with Foxtons Woolwich Estate Agents has been nothing short of painful and disappointing. From the beginning, it was clear that customer care and satisfaction are not their priorities. The overall impression is that clients don't matter, and interactions are handled in a cold, robotic manner.
Communication with the team is particularly frustrating. Emails and inquiries are often met with a belittling tone, making it seem as though they are doing you a huge favor by simply responding. Instead of providing assistance, every request feels like it’s met with resistance, requiring unnecessary extra steps and additional emails. It’s as if their goal is to complicate matters rather than to help resolve them efficiently.
Moreover, the charges levied are nothing short of abusive. The percentage fees are exorbitant, especially considering the minimal effort and work that seems to go into managing properties. It's incredibly disheartening to feel that you are paying so much for such poor service.
I deeply regret my decision to engage with Foxtons Woolwich Estate Agents. The experience has been a source of constant frustration and stress.
To anyone considering their services, whether as a tenant or a landlord, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Save yourself from the trouble and find an agency that truly values and respects its clients.

Fantastic Agency. Back in 2019 Eric Tarmulis found my wife and I the perfect property to rent at the time, this was managed by foxtons over our 5 year stay with excellent service. Now that our landlord decided to sell we went back to Eric to find our new place and he's been incredible in finding places that would suit us due to his experience with the royal arsenal estate. He actually found 3 places that would be great for us, but due to landlords being less than helpful the first 2 fell through, but the final one is the best of the lot and he helped negotiate a fair price locked for 3 years. Now we have another 3 years at least managed by foxtons and could not be happier.

Cannot be trusted. One of the agents was given unattended access to my apartment and left the external door open to the outdoor terrace for 3 days whilst I was away. Came back to mess from the wind blowing things inside, as well as clear evidence that pigeons had been in.
Gave Rachel Bird, sales manager the chance to rectify it by doing the honest thing and arranging a domestic service to clean the mess but got completely ignored by her. No accountability or integrity. Would avoid.

If Google allowed me to rate above 5 starts, I would have done so. I had a few viewings with Foxtons Woolwich and purchased a flat at the end.
Rachel and her team are fabulous: replied the emails timely and professionally, helped to align with the seller's solicitors, and always welcomed for additional visits/inspection on the property. TBH, I haven't seen anyone writting emails in such a neat and effecient way. I can feel the effort is there for a better communication.
The puchasing process was long and I am so glad I had their support during the wait. Eventually, the completion went smoothly and I got the keys in the envelop with a lovely card only 30 mins after the completion!

In my Spring 2024 apartment search, I viewed a few properties managed by Foxtons in Woolwich. After an initial miscommunication, I was assigned Alicia Gibbs as my dedicated agent. As an overall experience, I believe Foxtons manages properties which are quite interesting, fortunately well-kept and present across a wide budget range. I did not go through with any of their listings however, it is an agency I will go back to for my future needs.
For my agent, Alicia is a very interesting person to get know and someone who likes to walk to the properties instead of a drive - which I highly value! Apart from getting to know her own London renting stories, she has been very prompt in accommodating my requests and showed enthusiasm in helping me and my partner with our search. I will always welcome another opportunity to work with her. Cheers!

If its location, location, location for Phil and Kirsty then it's combined with outstanding, outstanding, outstanding for Jade and her team at Foxtons Woolwich. I took a tenancy on an apartment at Royal Arsenal Riverside on Thursday. Its a very impressive development and an amazing flat. By completely innocent oversight there was no mattress. The whole team at Foxtons Royal Arsenal Riverside were outstanding. Jade and her team were understanding, personable, friendly, professional, effective and efficient in dealing with this challenge. I had a brand new high quality mattress within 90 mins. We moved to Woolwich this year. Since we moved, there has been trouble all the time. It is impossible to reach the agent, Titia barely answers back to our mails, if you are lucky you can get answer after 2-3 weeks!
Renting a flat in the UK is just a trouble nothing else, especially when it comes together with such companies!

Adelle Peppa was the estate agent for the first time purchase of our home. In all honesty, if it was not for her, I don’t think we would be able to say we are home owners! Foxtons we’re great, but Adelle worked tirelessly to support us, communicated with both sides and did potentially more chasing and work than all of the solicitors combined. She was genuinely amazing throughout and absolutely kept our spirits up when things seemed tough. She even stuck with us to the very end when we got our keys and fixed our lock when we couldn’t get in. She deserves every ounce of praise I could give, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Having lost faith in most agencies previously for the lack of professionalism and personal touch. I have called Faxon’s to advise me on my property search and stumbled across the Associate Director Eric from Foxton’s Woolwich branch and he has simply restored my faith on the process. He has been very helpful from the get go, shared years of experience and made me understand and realise that I had to up my game as the competition is fierce out there. Following all his advises I understood I had to be more realistic to stand a better chance on securing what I want. Sometimes it isn’t just about pushing someone to any property, but making sure that we get what we want when the time is right. I will definitely look for Eric when I am back on the search and most definitely use Foxton’s as it seems they have a great worth ethic.

We’ve seen numerous realtors over the space of a year in London and none compared to the positive experience we received with Adelle. After a different estate agents messed my partner and I around and pulled out 9 days before our move in date I rang Foxtons in Woolwich stating that I needed a place to live by the end of the month. Eric went above and beyond in helping my partner and I to secure a place. He booked us in for a viewing on a new property straight away and then 5 minutes later rang back saying that I could accept the property based on a video and he'd send over the paperwork immediately due to our difficult situation. Eric then went straight to the property and sent me a video of the property and all the paperwork. Eric even managed to get the landlords approval on my partner and I on the same day. All the paperwork was completed in less than a week. My partner and I can not thank Eric enough for his help and support in finding a place with such a short deadline.

Originally I decided to opt for cheaper providers to sell my apartment, first Purplebricks and then a local estate agent. However after several months of next to no viewings and terrible offers, I decided to move over to Foxton’s.
Foxton’s have a much larger portfolio of clients with an estate agent offices spread across London, this meant within a week I had 2x more viewings than I did with my previous TWO estate agents combined.
They handled the viewings perfectly, always asking me for permission to show buyers around the apartment. Feedback was always provided and I didn’t feel like I couldn’t reach out to ask for more information if needed.
In particular there were two members of staff who were fantastic throughout; Ellie and Rachel Bird.
I would highly recommend Foxton’s!

Firstly the bad.We rented our property via Foxton's. Fine. Pity accounts couldn't make 2+2=4 when it can to paying us the rent every month!
We then put our flat up for sale via them.Would help if estimating didn't pick a figure out of the sky with no realistic expectation!
Good news: Rachael Bird was on our case and informed us regularly of interest.Thought we could have got more people through the door.

My contact was Adelle and it was an absolute pleasure working with her. She was forthcoming, diligent, answered all of my questions promptly.
Throughout the E2E process, Adelle was "on the ball" and assisting me in chasing all parties involved. Even though she wasn't representing me (as I was the buyer) it felt like we established great teamwork to arrive to completion within 8 weeks of having the offer accepted. I particularly appreciated the communication we both had.
If anybody is looking to buy, I would highly recommend working with Adelle.

I had a very bad experience with Eric the manager over the phone. After a good viewing with his agent Dominyka regarding a property to rent, I had a call with Eric to discuss on the next step. The tone used was very much aggressive: " You should have already decided that you want the flat otherwise you are wasting our time and I can't present your profile to the landlord". This was actually the first property visited with a good interest to discuss further but it is not right being verbally pushed in this way. A prospect is a potential end client and this type of attitude is not professional or acceptable. Even more when the offer itself was not even yet presented to the landlord for review. Reading below comments on Google, it looks like I am not the only one!

AVOID FOXTONS LIKE THE PLAGUE!! Absolutely awful sales team, very pushy hard sales, no respect, not to mention repeated illegal disability discrimination, to the point I had to submit a legal notice of direct discrimination!
For wider context; I agreed with Foxtons on first visitation we would need 48 hrs notice and my approximate accessible times for viewings.
Despite disability accessibly being a legal requirement to accommodate as part of the Equality Act 2010, and previously agreeing multiples times, including in writing, that we would not be bombarded and harassed with calls to book viewings outside agreed times; Foxtons agents have insisted on, harassing and bombarding me, with last minuet calls, text messages and even on my personal whatsapp; that I have not consented to be contacted on! This has been going on for several weeks now, despite multiples requests and complaints, and empty promises It wouldn't happen again. Today this happened again. An agent (Adelle) messaged me after agreeing not to over two times now with a last minute viewing, less than 24hrs notice!!. She sent a stream of messages to my personal whatsapp repeatedly requesting a viewing, despite me literally writing I am getting sick of this, It is not what was agreed or was re-promised, and this goes against the Equality Act which they are legally obliged to follow. I have it in writing from Adelle, a sudden back track of the empty re-promises; 'when we get a last minute call,(for a viewing) we will always call'. Despite also having in writing that Adelle had agreed not to do this anymore. Agreed 48hrs notice, then bombards with messages requesting almost immediate access in under 24hr notice, outside agreed times. Foxtons are a joke. At one point Adelle booked a viewing on a Saturday of which I changed my whole weekend to accommodate only for nobody to turn up, not even a courtesy call or apology. (Adelle tried to pass this off as it not being confirmed, however this was booked like every other viewing, and was in fact booked on the system). In another instance I showed somebody around myself as the agent turned up late. He didn't even bother to knock or apologise directly (only via text) as he met the viewers outside, after they had finished and left.
Foxtons... please re-train your staff in courtesy and human sense; this house does not have wheels or legs, it isn't going to run away. This is not a quick sale of an empty home. Nobody buys on a first viewing. Legally you are required by the Equality Act 2010 to accommodate my accessibility needs as a protected characteristic. ofc which you will now be familiar with as you have been served with a direct discrimination legal notice.
The worst part of it is Foxtons don't own their mistakes, or apologise, they'll agree, promise, then back track and simply try to pass it off as standard company policy (illegal), or try to blame everyone else; or blame me; that I must be mistaken, or insisting they are being polite, while they ignore my disability rights and the Equality Act 2010, harass and bombard me.
You can't politely ignore disability accessibility Foxtons!!!
Honestly, their service is much like that sit-com 'Stath lets flats' on Channel 4. Foxtons Woolwich could easily be written into the script in the middle of 'Smethwick's' & 'Michael & Eagle' Comfortably.
If you want a good reputable and respectful House sales agent to sell your property, go to Felicity J Lord of Blackheath, who provided exemplary customer service, assured and personal understanding and respect of disability and all round human kindness, in the initial viewing, I wish we signed up with Felicity J Lord, they seem to have superior customer service and actually legal standards of sales.
Risk your property with Foxtons at your peril and distress!!

We have used Foxtons lettings service for a number of years now and are absolutely delighted.
Especially the fast, reliable and professional performance re-letting our flat recently was utterly impressive. Jade Martin`s, Foxtons Lettings Manager, performance and delivery of prospective tenants was extremely impressive and could not have been better, Thanks to Jades fast, efficient and professional engagement the flat was rented out within 24h.
I would also like to mention the brilliant continuous performance of the lettings management team looking after our flat and our tenants. Richard Bromley is probably one of the best property managers that I have ever encountered and certainly in conjunction with Jade Martin the main reason for me to stick with the Foxtons Lettings Management Team.

Terrible costumer service,but this is not important. The important is that agency do not playing back my deposit with unknown reason. Landlord also surprised by the servicing of this agency. Need to mention that Landlord is extremely happy with a flat condition. Everytime when I'm trying to call them and ask where is my deposit,I'll get the same answer that we sent your money and they reach you in 5 days. So I this answer I hear this for 4 weeks.

It's taken me a while to write this as I've been busy settling in but this was by far the best experience I have had with a Lettings agency thus far (in my 4 years of living in London). My lettings agent, Alesja, was very responsive and helpful with all my requests, even going the extra mile and squeezing me in for a viewing at my dream property, which already had a lot of demand around it. The moving in process on her part was made super easy and efficient: all my documents were ready for me to pick up, collection of the keys was a breeze and the flat was absolutely spotless when I arrived. Couldn't sing Alesja's praise any more - she is fabulous! I don't intend to relocate anytime soon but if I did, she's the first person I'm calling. Be careful of these guys. After my initial viewing, they insisted on driving around and showing extra properties that I wasn’t even interested in and by the time we finished, they left me in middle of nowhere to find my way back using public transport! It took me close to half an hour to reach back home. Should have remembered never to enter strangers’ car, as I was taught as a child.. the initial viewing was by walking distance from my current place

I’ve used the services of Foxtons Woolwich branch, formerly London Stone Properties, a few times over the years. I feel they deserve a good mention. Overall they have great local knowledge and have had a long-term commitment to the Royal Arsenal Woolwich area. Sales Negotiator Tiffany Francis was very capable and communicative. The lettings team including Hannah have always in my experience been very efficient and professional. And the property management team including Michelle and Irfan were also well organised, straightforward and prompt in communications, and backed up by good relationships with reliable contractors. It was just really easy to get things done with everyone I interacted with at different times and I would definitely recommend.

So I echo the previous comment. I had a viewing booked, waited outside property as instructed no one showed. I called Tiffany the estate agent and left a voicemail as no answer. After 20 minutes I left luckily I do not live far and I had another viewing so hasn't wastes my journey. It's almost a week and still I have not heard back from her.
It's a shame as I thought I was dealing with London Stone the lady that set this estate agent up Julia would be so embarrassed knowing she sold it to such an embarrassing, unprofessional outfit. I never liked Foxton's but this has confirmed they literally do not care how clients are treated. Cowboys!
The contrast of this service versus the other estates agents is astounding!

Had a viewing, the lady that showed us around clearly had no interest in showing the property, she either didn't want to be there or didnt want me to be there, gave impression that I'm not worthy of her time or something.

We had the property viewing today with one of the sales team from lsp, Tiffany. She was unprofessional and unhelpful.
1. We were waiting for her by the property, and had to call Tiffany who was at a Cafe near by, I think we interupted her coffee break.
2. We were told to wear the mask and gloves, which they didnt provide - so my husband had to go and buy them.
We've been to view many properties before with other estate agents and they had prepared the mask and gloves for us.
We were not treated like a client who might spend large amount of money on the property but instead as if the agent is doing us a favour letting us see the place and we are unworthy of her time.
The sales team should have a service mind with better manners and attitude.
