Don't get me started on the customer service if I had the option to have no stars then I would not rate this agent. I know they are not based in the nicest of areas but we all deserve to be treated with respect rather then feeling that the customers needs are not being taken into consideration, you ring the agency and no one picks up or you speak to the staff and they seem miserable as if they cannot be bothered to talk or do a days work. when you request information you get told to go onto the website rather then being helpful and addressing your needs. poor lack of customer service and training skills. my girlfriend has emailed in several times about viewing properties and potentially getting a valuation on our home but we have not heard back from the agency. we only wanted to view a property and it seems as though the staff do not care about the buyers. my decision was made to not buy or sell with this agent and instead i have gone with a local agent who addressed my queries quickly.

Other Countrywide Group Reviews

Simply Incompetent , they never update you. We were in the process of buying a property from them and we actually had to do their job to make it happened. It has been a nightmare dealing with them. They have no clue of what is going on, after waiting 3 weeks to have some update, we phoned them and the answer we got was "I have emailed the seller once 3 weeks ago but he did not reply so I will call them sometime this week". We knew more about the property and the buying process than them. They don't even know what is going on the market. Example: Stamp Duty is a big issue at the moment for banks as it double every 25 years for some properties. More than 300 000 people have this issue in the UK. When we told them if they knew about it, they replied "No, I never heard this. Stamp Duty is not a problem at all to get a mortgage". Didn't know anything about the property (on a second viewing) One more thing, we had a second viewing after making an offer and we had couple of questions such as "is it double glazed?""is it under floor heating?" and "is it 24h concierge service? " and the answers were .... "I don't know." or "I am not sure". Rude Also, the agent who was supposed to meet us in front of the property, was hiding herself in the entrance, under the stairs.. and she was looking at us waiting for her in the street but did not bother coming and say hi.

Our experience with Freeman Forman was excellent from start to finish. John was incredibly honest and professional. Having picked up the pieces from another local agent where we felt we had been mislead from the start with unrealistic pricing and unfulfilled promises. We felt really distressed and down from the previous experience as we had no feedback or contact as to why our property was not selling. The service at by Vicky at Freeman Forman has been excellent. Due to a relocation from the South West we were under severe time constraints. Vicky worked out appointment times so we weren't rushed and was able to dedicate her time to assisting us find the right house. She kept us fully up to date with proceedings even though we weren't in the area and she made our transition very easy. We would definitely recommend buying a house via Freeman Forman.
