I paid for a will to be put in place by the solicitors at Young Robertson back in 2017. I recently made contact with the company and spoke to a very polite and helpful receptionist to request that some very important changes be made. After several ignored emails to the solicitor and messages left to be past to Ewan Thoms, I today received a response from the receptionist saying that after talking to the solicitor that they are unable to help me as they are far too busy with conveyancing work and to take my business elsewhere to have my will fully rewritten. I find this an absolutely disgraceful way in which to treat a client that has previously paid for a service. At the time of having my will drawn up, I was informed that changes could easily be made. I am now being forced to pay for another company to fully rewrite my will. I will be taking this matter to the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission.... Read more
