Urban and Rural have just helped us to sell our property. We found them to be extremely professional and friendly. We were located abroad throughout the sale and circumstances were challenging as a result of Covid-19. The level of communication was exceptional and they were always very responsive, making us feel reassured throughout. We would like to give a special mention to Glenn and Melanie who supported us throughout the whole process. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Kept me informed every step of the way.
We have been really impressed with how professional and hard working Urban and Rural have been throughout the process. We were particularly impressed with the photos of our home and the virtual tour. They kept us well informed of the viewings and feedback. They also communicated well with the Agent we were buying through. Would be happy to recommend.
We recently moved into a new house in Bedfordshire dealing with the Flitwick office of Urban and Rural Estate Agents. All our contacts with the Urban and Rural team have been very positive. All the staff there were always ultra-professional, courteous and plainly prepared to fully engage with us. We first viewed (what was to become) our new home with Duncan Robb who can only be commended for his patience (during two viewings) with our two small boys hurtling about getting to grips with the layout of the place. Duncan gave us some sound advice on the potential purchase (which we took) and it worked!
Then.., there is Lorraine Carter, Sales Progressor for Urban and Rural. When her details first appeared, we questioned as to what (exactly) a sales progressor actually does. The answer it turns out (in Lorraine’s case) was pretty much everything! Soon after (what was at times an extremely difficult series of negotiations on the sale/purchase of our old/new houses) we became fully aware of just what a very special person Lorraine was.
Lorraine (as they say in the East End) is “the business”. Issues and situations that, to some, might seem intractable Lorraine just regarded as the latest challenge. One could well imagine her sitting at her desk faced with the latest problem and saying to herself “Well, I’m not having any of that!!!” She would then work the problem through with a tenacity and sense of determination which was truly remarkable. Next thing you knew it was problem solved and “Moving on!”.
With all the agents I have dealt with during a number of house moves, I have never interacted with anyone quite like Lorraine. If there are standards for Sales Progressors in her line of business then, in our book, Lorraine sets the platinum standard!
The best real estate agent we’ve worked with. Actually, the only agent where we felt we were given no rush time when viewing properties. Any other agents were very quick to get rid of us. You can pick up on that energy when dealing with people. Urban and Rural is different. They are genuinely interested in finding you the right property. Also, they are very responsive and professional in all aspects.
We used Urban & Rural to sell our house after a sale with another agent fell through. Brad made calls on the first day we went back on the market and had an offer on that very first day!!! I can’t speak highly enough of them as a firm. They use an absolutely fantastic sales progressor called Amanda who got our sale through in lightening speed. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!
Good communication from Bobby and Shannon, we had a few problems with the buyer and solicitor at the end of the chain, very poor communication and not always the facts had to keep chasing myself, but when I flagged the problems up to Bobby he was on the case and kept me informed
All in all it worked out well but in general all agents and solicitors need to communicate efficiently with each other and their clients, that is what we are paying for
This is not aimed at Urban and Rural as Bobby did pull out all the stops, I know he was off work for some time and I think if he had been there all the time it would have run smoothly
Well done Bobby you did a good job for us!
