Absolutely Terrible Experience, Avoid Sheldon Bosley Knight at All Costs
We had a truly awful experience with Sheldon Bosley Knight. We called within minutes of a property being listed, submitted all our personal details immediately, and provided everything they requested. We followed up consistently and were assured we were on the list for viewings.
Come Monday, we called as soon as they opened and were told the keys had just been returned and we should expect a call shortly to arrange a viewing. We waited… and waited.
By Wednesday, after hearing nothing, we called again, only to be told that viewings had already taken place and the property was being rented out. No call, no update, nothing.
This is beyond unprofessional. Their communication is appalling and their service is disorganized and dismissive. We were strung along for no reason.
I wouldn’t recommend Sheldon Bosley Knight to anyone. Save yourself the time and frustration, go elsewhere.

Shocking from start to.... well still waiting.
We initially booked a viewing for a rental property. This wasn't easy for us as myself and wife both work full time so to just drop everything at the click of a finger to get time of work wasn't easy - but we did it. At short notice they cancelled our viewing due to "logistical problems in the office" they then said there diary was very full and they'll try and find us a new date. Eventually they got back to us with a new date that only my wife could attend - I couldn't due to work commitments. But they offered and agreed from this point that if we wanted to go for the property - they would make sure I got to view the property in person before we were expected to sign anything or pay anything.
My wife viewed the property and we applied for it on the basis I would be able to view it before proceeding.
Anyway the landlord chose us as his ideal tenants so we requested for my viewing and basically got told they were to busy, we needed to pay the holding deposit or risk loosing out to someone else. They eventually offered me a viewing for the following morning at 9am - again to short notice to get the time off work.
So we reluctantly told them to bypass us as we didn't want to mess the landlord around and we weren't happy because they'd gone back on what they said.
I then contacted them the next day to say I understand if the property has gone to someone else now, but if they were able to make a viewing for me the following week(something they'd promised in the first place before expecting and holding deposit or official proceeding with the property) to allow me time to give work enough notice then we could look to proceed forward. They were very rude and basically told us they didn't understand why we wouldn't go ahead initially, and that they thought our reasoning was "weird" . This wasn't the first time they were rude - multiple times on the phone and also in person to my wife in the office.
They eventually told us they'd contant the landlord and get back to us... we still haven't heard anything back nearly a week later.
We've been left very frustrated and annoyed by the whole experience with Sheldon Bosley Knight. Considering all of this was caused in the first place by them cancelling our initial viewing we could both attend - yes these things happen - but there whole attitude and approach since then has been disgusting. They need a serious lesson in customer service and how to talk to people. And by the looks of other reviews - we aren't the only ones who think so. Pretty sure they wouldn't have explained to the landlord how and why this whole situation panned out as it did with his "ideal tenants" ????
UPDATE : Conveniently the following day after posting this review - my wife received a call from SBK stating we could still proceed with the property but again requesting a holding deposit to be paid before I could view the property. Unfortunately I was at work unaware of this call, and since we had heard nothing in well over a week - we had already viewed and applied for other properties. For which moments before my wife received the call from SBK I had received a call whilst at work stating we had been accepted for so paid the holding deposit.
This whole situation has been a farce and could have been avoided had there been more organisation and quality of customer service from SBK in the first place. And ultimately its caused a headache for the landlord whom im sure is oblivious as to why this has all happened and probably thinks we are just messing hin around when really its the incompetency of SBK.

There was a gap of 4 + months with no communication or da5a analysis updates.
Only had 4 viewings in the period of their marketing (7 months) accepting its a buyers market and unsettled housing market times
