Working with Maslen was an absolute dream. I had found property buying/selling confusing, frightening and stressful in the past, and the processes and professions around it quite opaque and dehumanising. The staff at Maslen explained everything super clearly, with no jargon. Everyone I worked with there was friendly and approachable, and had a strong sense of the current situation and how that impacted me. They constantly advocated for me, and were very proactive, meaning that I felt buffered against any stressful parts of the process. They helped me navigate the more difficult moments immediately they arose, and in ways that were in my best interests and aligned with my values, even when that wasn’t necessarily the standard way to proceed and didn’t bring them any additional income. I highly recommend Maslen to anyone wanting super friendly active support throughout the buying/selling process.

We contacted Paul last Summer to carry out a valuation on the property, along with other agencies. Having bought our house in BN1 nearly 5 years ago through Maslen, we were keen to sell through them. When we decided to put the house on sale, the whole team were prompt to get great images and list the advert when we instructed. 4 viewings followed within a couple of days and the sale was wrapped up in 6 days, from having the initial images taken.
Not only was the pre-sale process seamless but the post-sale communications through Donna were (again) absolutely brilliant - she carefully worked through some post survey actions with our buyer and coordinated a completion date efficiently.
If you're looking to sell in the Brighton area, Maslen are the clear agent of choice for professionalism, local knowledge, customer satisfaction and achieving asking price. We'd have no hesitation in recommending them and will no doubt use their services again if we move in the future.
