29th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)Urban Base valued, listed and sold my property in 72 hours and the service was amazing from start to finish. Charlotte, who dealt with the sale, was always on hand to answer the phone and offer advice and was fantastic to deal with.
30th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.

2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

She communicated regularly keeping me informed of progress and chasing buyers when I became frustrated by stalling techniques.
- 16th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)From the moment my property went on the market I never heard from Dowen again other than to tell me if I had a viewing. I might aswell have put the house up for sale myself. £1200 for what? Putting it on Rightmove? Photos were terrible, he said he would come back when it was sunny to take some more. Never heard from him... Appalling customer service, no call backs just nothing, no personal touch at all. Would never use again, there are plenty of better local estate agents out there who would take much better care of you for a lot less money.

9th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)We needed to get the house on the market as quickly as possible and branch manager Melanie Fairness made time to meet us and agree a valuation and a marketing strategy. She took excellent pictures and quickly produced details, which she forwarded to us for approval, and once the house was online Melanie kept us fully informed of viewings and the reaction of the potential buyers, positive and negative. Within a month we had several offers and accepted one of them for close to the asking price. Altogether Red Hot Property provided a professional service and made selling the property a simple and stress-free process.

The photographs were fabulous, showing the house at it’s best. Any queries we had over the change in the housing market were dealt with reassuringly.
