2nd Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Very impressed with time keeping and overall process. The only small issue was that I asked for no FOR SALE board on the property. One appeared. I asked for it to be removed. After a few days it was taken away, but leaving rawl plugs in the stone wall near the front door.
23rd Oct 2024 (0 days ago)We were really impressed with Jan Mitchell services. All staff we talked with were really friendly and professional. Their valuation was far more accurate than that of 3 other valuations we had done. Their fees are reasonable compared with other estate agents. Communication was excellent. I have never know replies to emails to be so fast. Photos and social media advertising was attractive and we sold our house within 72 hours of it being live. Very impressed so far.
7th Oct 2022 (2 years ago)We tried to buy a commercial site next to our factory in Bishop Auckland, some dodgy dealing and back handers with Chris Farlow must have happened as we offered £750K which was turned down and the site sold for 695K. the purchaser and ourself were in the same position (cash buyers) apparently the previous owner wanted someone who could rent the site...??? We had no other option to rent it and signed a lease for 10years but to this day it baffles me why an agent would sell for less and not try to get the best price for their clients? Can you smell a rat??? Carver will carve your selling price!! do not use them
5th Feb 2024 (8 mo. ago)Extremely Disappointing Customer service. All department options available on the phone number actually transfer to voicemails of the responsible heads of said departments. They don't return phone calls - Been trying for a week now. Smaller companies have managed to arrange for virtual assistants who clearly are more effective at ensuring call-backs are actioned.
26th May 2024 (21 weeks ago)Despite the property being very unique the valuation was based on as much well researched information as they could manage. Marketing was done well with excellent photos and a photographic 3d walk around. They also managed to arrange marketing in the local paper. Helped negotiate a good selling price higher than the asking price. Property has been sold within 5 weeks of marketing. Friendly and informative staff. Despite speaking to different staff the computer notes were well done meaning we were always well informed. I’d recommend this company.
