He took the time to talk us through the valuation process, also talked through his report & gave us great pointers for the renovation works we want to complete. They were accessible, professional and empathetic. We are particularly grateful to Sam Burston and Michelle Wilmot for their active roles and prompt communication. Sam did a wonderful job striking a balance between acting for the vendors and taking our needs into consideration. It is easy to see that he loves his job. Thank you very much for making our dream real!
15th Feb 2025 (17 weeks ago)Less than a week after photos etc taken, the house went 'live' on the internet. The next day, I received a phone call from CobbAmos wanting to book a viewing the following day. The house was sold, etc, within a week.

26th Jun 2024 (11 mo. ago)Having a listed thatched property to sell was no challenge for Trivett Hicks Estate agents Ross on Wye who found us a suitable buyer and continued to see the sale through smoothly . Attention to detail meant that we were happy and informed as was our Buyer. An experience that could have been stressful turned out to be more than satisfactory.
4th Oct 2021 (3 years ago)My partner conducted a 3hr/ 100mile round trip to be met with such unprofessionalism and dismissal. Becky Howl could not even give him the time of day to allow him to look at the property in more detail. She wasn't even going to open the doors to certain rooms, just stating "there's the utility room" as she marched past with haste in order to end the viewing as quickly as possible. If it wasn't for my partner stopping to take a look and ask questions, she would have had him out of the 5 bedroom, 3 reception room house in less than 5mins. It was apparent Becky favoured the previous potential tenants and therefore, wanted to put my partner off. Absolutely distressful behaviour from a so say professional.

From start to finish, the team was fantastic—especially Helen, who went above and beyond to support me throughout the process. Her help was invaluable and genuinely made everything so much easier. The rates were good, the house sold quickly, and the entire process was seamless. Highly recommend!

26th Apr 2020 (5 years ago)At first they were really helpful, but after a few weeks we heard nothing from them. They were rarely able to do viewings, so we had to do them ourselves. There was no feedback unless we telephoned them. We were told that a specific person would be dealing with our home, but this person changed 5 times! There seemed to be obvious problems within the staff. We are very disappointed. After the lockdown we shall be changing our agent.

4th Jun 2025 (12 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!
