22nd Nov 2024 (16 days ago)We had a letter through our door to say they had several interested buyers. We followed up and called the estate agents where we spoke to Alistair (director), who informed us that it was a generic letter with incorrect information and went on to tell us our property wasn’t worth the value it is on the market for. Rude and unprofessional. We would not consider recommending them. There are better ways to win business than insulting buyers and rubbishing competitors on the phone.
21st Aug 2024 (16 weeks ago)Advertising with incorrect details and 2/3 weeks later not updated. Viewing experience was great Freddie was professional and knowledgeable. The property we were interested in was a redevelopment of old law chambers in Chester City centre - the pricing didn’t seem to make sense based on advertised measurements - when an offer was made based on this we were advised that their advert was incorrect - the property remains advertised with the old measurements including a property already sold which is said by Jackson Stops to have been considerably smaller than advertised - whilst builder and agents indemnify themselves by suggesting the purchaser should confirm sizes - it feels disingenuous. We are still awaiting the revised sizes which at one point they had but have since said they await from architects.

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. She communicated our queries to the landlady and came back with the assurance that we were looking for.
