29th May 2020 (4 years ago)I have used the services of Carter Jonas in both Cambridge and Suffolk. They have repeatedly delivered excellent professional service when the markets have been both buoyant and not. They go the extra mile and are incredibly accommodating. I only once used another agent who over promised and then under delivered. I changed to Carter Jonas again (they were very gracious) as a result I had a buyer within days of the instruction.

They work so well as a team that everyone is well informed and each of them is equally able to assist with any queries. They work quickly and efficiently on everything they do which resulted in the speedy sale of our property at the right price. What more can I say!?

15th Aug 2024 (17 weeks ago)Had a wonderful experience with the Haart sales team in Stevenage with the sale of our house. Would highly recommend the team who work great together and get results! Adam Smith, Andrew Rogers, Marley Hamilton and Gemma Allen. Called three agents to get valuations. The person you first speak to at any business sets the tone and Marley set the tone perfectly from my initial call, asked all the right questions at this initial stage, knew the local market and had direct comparables to hand and was very personable. I was pretty much sold at this point! Andrew valued the property and again set himself apart from the other agents we invited in. Direct, professional approach with relevant comparable properties recently sold in the area. He could back his valuation which was higher then the other agents, and was very clear on the marketing strategy and approach that he and the team use to get the best results for the vendor. I knew they were the right agency for us! Once we gave them the instruction to market the property the machine started moving. Photos were taken, the property went live on all the portals within days, the team previewed the property and had viewings lined up immediately. The perfect offer was received within five days of marketing which we accepted. During the conveyancing process Adam kept the momentum going and really pushed for the exchange and completion within the time frames we had initially given. The purchasers conveyancing team was a little slow at times but Adam kept the line of communication open and got it across the line. I want to say a massive thank you to the Haart team in Stevenage…. We can now move on to our dream home and for that we are very grateful! If you have a property to sell in the area this is the agency you should use!
18th Sep 2024 (12 weeks ago)We spoke to a lot of estate agents in Hitchin regarding our house sale before ultimately deciding on David and his team. We are extremely happy with our decision. Putterill's did a great job of marketing our house, keeping us informed and getting us the right buyer. We had originally planned on selling our house to purchase a new build in Hitchin. We subsequently changed our mind and went with a different house. This dragged out the process (our doing) but the team were very understanding and patient. Shirley in the office was a delight and Abigail in the sales progression team did a great job in finally getting us across the line (despite lots of hurdles thrown our way at the end). We will for sure be recommending Putterill's and wish everyone there all the best.
16th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers
2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)As an estate agent they have been really good property sold in two weeks and they helped with everything along the way. They are friendly helpful and offer good advice. I would say though the conveyancing is not worth the extra money nearly £2000 more than most the others and have not done anything spectacular to justify that additional cost.

2nd Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Generally very pleasant to deal with. Had to correct a few mistakes they made with the listing which surprised me. Also they initially had to be pushed to progress the sale. However the team were polite, informed me on progress when it was made and generally I was pleased with the overall experience. I was also slightly surprised that they require an up-front payment of £300 for photos that you only get back if they complete the sale. This was in contrast to all other agents.
