10th Jul 2024 (15 weeks ago)Beware of this Estate Agency - Specifically check before proceeding with an offer or purchase through G Herbert Banks, if they are aware of any active AG TAG attached to a property they are actively marketing for sale (be it with or without a Certificate of Lawfulness) it might save you a lot of money, time, effort and heartache in the long run.
24th Sep 2024 (29 days ago)We started the process in August 2023 with Nock Deighton. While the market didnt go our way. Dealing with Nock Deighton DID :) A pleasure from the start, the whole team. Especially Cora Beth. Our personal "psychiatrist" some days :) Brilliant firm. Would recommend. Dave & Zoe Nash
19th Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

Alastair at Strutts discussed every aspect of the sale with me, was highly collaborative, and just went above and beyond at every step of the process. The photos and marketing material were outstanding, and the advice at key stages made the difference in securing a completed sale. Friendly and professional, she helped us to put our flat on the rental market and just one day later had secured respectable tenants and had them moved in quickly and efficiently, with great communication throughout the process. Words don't do her justice, but hopefully this shows how appreciative we are to her for making what should probably have been a stressful process incredibly quick and easy. Thanks!

Their staff are in the same mould. There was always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to deal with our queries. We found their charge rates to be very competitive.

27th Sep 2024 (26 days ago)I had a few estate agents come out to see me and chose Barbers due to their professionalism, sensitive understanding of my situation and explaining everything clearly from the start. They really stood out above the others that had visited, and I was disappointed throughout the whole process. The sale turned out to be a very complicated sale due to many issues we weren’t aware of initially,. Barbers supported me through the whole process. Matthew negotiated with the buyer instead of leaving it to the solicitors, which would have increased my legal costs, on many occasions. Overall a very drawn out, emotionally and stressful sale and I am so glad I chose Barbers to guide me through this. I felt they were by my side without having to ask. I would recommend them without hesitation.
