Then Lisa ran the sales progression very professionally. Despite a few issues with a (reasonably) long chain, Lisa kept me in touch with everything that was going on and we got there in the end. 27th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.

Wasting our time completely when all we are trying to do is find a family home ! This company is absolutely useless. I will not be using this company again

The support and guidance they gave us and they went above and beyond to get our house sold and into our new home! If in future I was to sell again I wouldn’t hesitate to use them all. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the initial booking of the evaluation, to their marketing expertise. All the way through to bookings and viewings. They have been amazing! Sales progression have been great. Pushing the sales along when we thought it had stalled!
