9th Nov 2024 (19 weeks ago)Really disappointing experience. Some of the viewers they sent were a total waste of time - clearly not interested in a property like ours. Communication was non existent unless we got in touch first. That includes when we were clearly not going to make the initial date for exchange. Only thing they managed to do without us telling them to was putting their final bill into our solicitor.
25th Sep 2024 (26 weeks ago)Positive experience with arranging a viewing and mortgage consultation with Connells. The viewing was arranged promptly and Caleb was professional and knowledgable. I was really impressed as well with the mortgage consultation - Sarah was extremely friendly, and again professional and knowledgable. I would encourage others to use them for the same services.

5th Mar 2025 (18 days ago)I made online enquiry for viewing, then made a phone call with the answer I will be contacted later. No one contacted me. Next day I tried again, the agent always busy, from early morning till end of the day they do not have time for you!

We have just moved into our new home (February 2025) and Bond Oxborough Phillips at Great Torrington were our estate agents. From start to finish, which was 3 months, they were impeccable in keeping everything moving and everyone informed. Howard did a fantastic job of showing us around the property, securing the agreed price and keeping everything on track. Well done and thank you Howard! Then Helen was equally professional and diligent in keeping the whole sales process moving along, working with us, the vendor's, our estate agent for our sale, solicitor's and surveyors. Always ahead of the game and in complete control. Well done Helen and thank you. It was very noticeable that the whole office work as a team, all extremely good at their job. 12th Mar 2025 (11 days ago)My wife and I cannot thank Mike and all his team enough for their support, efforts, professionalism, humour and patience on our behalf in both the sale and purchase of our old and new homes. Though the process from start to finish took a while and had its moments of ups and downs and frustrations, Mike, Ali, Vicki and all concerned stuck with it and made it all happen for us, we cannot thank them enough and remain extremely grateful.
31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could- 18th Dec 2024 (14 weeks ago)Well what a fantastic service we had from Pete and Ben, they most definitely go the extra mile to make selling your property as stress free as possible. We would recommend 100%. Thanks guys ????????????????
