A professional and friendly service from valuation to completion. HPS had a group of buyers ready to view our property within 2 days. We accepted an offer after 4 days on the market and the sale was completed after 6 weeks. At every stage HPS were helpful and supportive. Thank you.
Absolutely clueless. How they remain open is mind boggling. Undertaking remedial work without consent, failing to provide legal paperwork to tenants, providing misleading information to name a few of their fails. They were taken to the Property Ombudsman and ordered to pay compensation for their shambolic service, and still to this day refuse to acknowledge their fails as an agent. I cannot stress enough AVIOD!!!
Hunters are the only decent, professional and efficient estate agents we have ever dealt with! Very pleased with their service and we would use them again. Fiona especially was friendly and got things done for us as promptly as she could.
House sale pulled out by Seller within 4 days of verbal agreement
We were after a house purchase in Middleton, handled by Hunters, when we ended up losing the house twice. The first time, we viewed the property, really enjoyed what we saw - but when wanting to come back to view the property again (note: this property was on the market for over 2 months with no offers accepted) - it had been taken off the market as an offer was accepted.
Fortunately for us, the property then got listed on the market again as the buyers pulled out within a week of making the offer. We got our second viewing and made the offer the next day - which was accepted ahead of a bank holiday weekend in August.
Suddenly, on a Thursday we get a call saying the house is off the market and being sold to a cash buyer. The offer was pulled away from us with no consideration.
Unfortunately this is the way the housing market still operates that gives both parties no repercussions after behaving in an ill-mannered fashion. Whilst verbal agreements are not binding - it is not the best practice that agencies managing sales do not reimburse the buyers they bring in to a verbal agreement whilst letting the seller (at best - charging the management fee which never sees all affected parties!) walk off.
Reeds and Rains of Driffield were amazing with the sale of our bungalow. The whole process took just 6 weeks and as we have located to the Highlands, everything was arranged and overseen by the Driffield team. Ellie Fanshaw is a huge asset to the team, she handled everything with complete professionalism. We would highly recommend this service to other house buyers/sellers. So worth the money!!!
All the staff in particular Rebecca were really helpful. We have a few delays and they were more than happy to chase and push towards the completion date we wanted.
Smooth easy and really enjoyable experience for saying it's a stressful time. The team where professional and was made to feel like person rather than a business transaction.
Very interesting reading previous reviews and experiences as they appear to mirror my own.
I remain to this date, absolutely dumbfounded how 'professional' companies can fail to carry out duties, obligated by law.
My window has been broken since November 2016 and yet some 9 months has yet to be repaired.
I have been reassured countless times that this health hazard would be repaired, yet to no avail.
I have been the one to chase the repair since its occurrence and despite best efforts have appeared to have fallen on deaf ears.
Naturally, customer service has been virtually non-existent, and would recommend, with utmost urgency, that poppy purchase the 'customer service for dummies' paperback copy off Amazon for £6.99.
I would not recommend this 'service' to anybody and wish any customer involved with the company the very best of luck, unfortunately, i believe, it may be needed.
thank you guys for everything over the past 12 months, you’ve certainly been my favourite landlords in the 4 years of living in Leeds and if we could have found the right house with you guys then we would have stayed. Nothing was ever a problem and to Simon especially who sorted the sofas, the TV and the bracket when we moved in, we really appreciated that. I’d definitely recommend you guys to anyone who wanted to move. If it comes to it next year and we have to move again SB living will be the first place I come looking! Also just a quick thank you to Elina, Vanessa and Hannah who have been awesome in general.
Avoid - SB living is one of the worse out there. Requested three months for changing a mattress, loads of damp in the house- reported numerous times and no response. To finish it off they also robbed me of my £400 deposit. 55 Headingley Lane.
In response to Sb living, I am not mistaken you did manage the property (Sb living branch based in Leeds). I will be visiting your office personally to make a further complain.
