We have used Reeds Rains Selby for both the letting & management of our house and also now the sale. Chris, Sue & Bryony have been fabulous throughout and worked really hard to get us the best price and keep us updated throughout. I wouldn’t hesistate in recommending them.
Poor communication, Agent didn't show for my appointment 2nd viewing.
I had booked time off work to attend, I arrived at property and waited 30 mins for no one to show.
Called office to be told property had sold that morning had no missed calls, emails or text from the office to inform me the appointment was cancelled or there was another offer being submitted.
Requested a call back from the Manager to discuss, have been waiting a week and still not had a call or a response from the branch.
I would never use this Estate Agency again.

Had nothing but trouble with this horrendous company. They’ve put me off renting from agencies for the rest of my life! Left me, my partner and my 8 week old baby with no boiler and hot water for nearly a week when it snowed really bad and me and my daughter stayed with my sister because it was absolutely freezing in the house! My partner rang the landlord and he said he had no idea about it that was five days after. When we first moved in, the lino in the kitchen had all waves in it (THIS IS A NEW HOUSE by the way) they said it was either our dog who had chewed it or a steam mop, what the?! You would of been able to tell if it was our dog as it would of had bite marks and we don’t even own a steam mop. Man holes outside in garden were 5 inch or more higher than the ground. My partner tripped over one of them and nearly went through the patio doors. We had to report everything on their website, what an absolute joke! Wouldn’t even give this company one star but had to so I could leave a review!!! Nothing but jokers!
All my dealings with the Pontefract office have been positive, from the initial contact, the letting of the property to the sale. Unfortunately this is not backed up by "The Hub" in Manchester, which is very poor. I just wish I could have dealt with the local office the whole time. Well done Pontefract office.
taken my deposit and built up my hopes, then doing all they could to reject me - because im disabled. they altered my income to being lower than it is, to then say i needed 6 months rent - which i have. my credit rating was supposedly poo when i know its good. all at the last minute with a very patronizing phone call like i was a child. nice people
We have know Rebekah since 2007 when Hunters in Selby acted on our behalf to sell the house we owned at the time. They did a great job back then and we've had cause to use this estate agent since without any problems. Over the years we've come into contact with Hunters when buying and selling property and have never had any problems with the professional service they've offered. They even introduced us to a solicitor that we still use today - we won't use anybody else. We've called on Rebekah recently for advice that neither she or Hunters would have benefited from, for which she gave her time generously. Hunters in Selby comes well recommended from us - when you meet your estate agent whilst out shopping and get a hug from them after all this time, then I think that says an awful lot about the friendly but professional service they offer.
The support during the sales process was excellent, the sales progression agent was available all the time which really helped so we knew what was happening. With the house sitting empty, Hunters agents very kindly took meter readings and checked up on the property which gave us great peace of mind during a hugely stressful process.

Paper work: Kept to the minimum and very accurate and easy to understand.
Phone and e-mail response: almost immediate for mails and immediate for telephone support
Integrity and Openness: The team are very open and will give solid and robust advise as appropriate to the situation
Maintenance and upkeep: They have a number of skilled workmen to attend to your letting(s) and ensure the tenant is fully kept up to speed with visits etc
Price Point: Excellent value for money
Exceeding your expectations:
The team just do things with aplomb and things just work. The tenant is very well looked after and as a Landlord so are you.
Every dealing I have had with the team have been both professional and with respect for the tenant, the tenant is at the forefront of their mind and the protection of the landlords property.
Not a good company to deal with, they will end up costing you money because they are simply just inept. Avoid, you have been warned.
