This is the worst agency I've ever dealt with. From the snake oil "MD" to the bunch of young inexperienced "experts" who manage the relationship.
Considering an agency? Look elsewhere!
I received unjust invoices, very distressing and inconvenient. I asked for a office phone - I never got it. Oh, and my employee resigned over the terrible noise in the co-working office as she could not perform her duties - cost me disruption to my business and I am in-dept to this company for rent as they wont let me out of my contract with no charge despite everything they put me through. Avoid the co-working office and go for a single office the size of a match box with no window and pay lots of money for it instead is my advice or better still go somewhere else.
I purchased a house with this branch and the Agent i dealt with was Emily Pentland i can honestly say she is one of if not the best agent i have ever dealt with everything she says she is going to do she does truly amazing service from her and her colleagues a real asset to the company keep up the good work i hope to see you all soon.
I did not even want to give one star..I would stay well clear of Bridgfords in Washington. The staff are useless and really do not help. We moved out of a property and we waited 2 month for our deposit back. I really would not recommend this agency!! With this agency you constantly bang your head off the wall.
I've recently used Daniel Craig residential to help find me a student property whilst studying in Newcastle.
They were great and offered me a few different places to stay that met my search criteria and provided me with as much information as possible. They ended up referring me to a student accommodation site called true Newcastle, situated near my University.
The accommodation is great and the full process; from enquiring to booking, was made really easy by the team at Daniel Craig.

We originally took the tenancy out through another agent and moved into an unfurnished property that had not been cleaned prior to moving in. The carpets were disgusting and had been in the property for at least 3 years prior that I know of, we washed and cleaned the carpets throughout and got on with living in our new home. ( original condition of the property had nothing to do with abode. Just setting the scene) After 4 years with a few issues along the way ( I had posted a review previously and the MD emailed me pleaded I take down the review as the issues had been resolved so I agreed and stated if I run into anymore issues then I will review) the time came to move on. Throughout the tenancy when abode took over, many issues were raised that the previous agent failed to rectify I do give abode their dues they did get them resolved.
We were subjected to 2-4 inspections per year, not once was any issue brought up with the condition of the house during or after each inspection. When questioned on the frequency of inspections they agreed to reduce to 2 per year. We had an inspection a week or so before we moved out and again no issues brought up. When then moved out and had a final inspection and what do you know! There was various issues so until they were rectified our bond was not released! When challenged on this abode advised it was the landlord instructing them.
So I called the landlord directly after a week of stress and many emails and calls passed back n forth, the landlord advised he was more than happy with the house and infact he didn’t actually know what the condition the house was in when we moved in. The only issue was the outside bins were full and he needed to make sure they were emptied which would be on the following Tuesday when the bin men came. The landlord then called abode to instruct them to release our bond minus £50 in case the bins didn’t get emptied. ( which we were more than happy with) clearly abode were creating issues as a tactic to withhold the bond!
During the heated discussions with abode specially Margaret, when challenged on what the landlord had said they stated the landlord was lying etc etc maybe because he didn’t want me to contact him! If that was the case then why did the landlord give me his contact number in the first place???? Hmmm go figure!
Be very very careful during any dealings with this estate agent!
Just completed the sale of my house and I'm delighted with the service from Hunters on Sea Road. I'm the first to admit I am quite demanding but the staff were great with me. Kept me up to date with every step of the process and held my hand when I was getting worried about losing out on my next home due to a problem further down the chain. If you're thinking of selling I would absolutely recommend you use Hunters. 5 Stars!!
Unfortunately I have had one of the most difficult years of my life since meeting Chris and Lauren. I put my trust in this company and have been totally let down. As a letting agent they are extremely inexperienced and their communication skills poor. I never felt my best interests were at the centre of interactions. I have been running around in unnecessary circles due to poor management. I could not recommend this branch and would strongly suggest you contact an experienced letting agent, that is familiar with all procedures, as their knowledge of basic issues is not impressive.
