I used Harper MacLeod services for my recent separation / divorce and firstly, can say that I can't recommend them highly enough! I had my will prepared by this firm back in 2017 and was assured at the time that any future changes could be made easily. Recently, I contacted them to make some important updates. While the receptionist was polite and helpful, the overall service I received was extremely disappointing. After multiple emails and messages left for the solicitor, I received no direct response. I was eventually told, via the receptionist, that the solicitor was too busy with conveyancing work to assist and that I should take my business elsewhere to have my will completely rewritten. As a returning client who has already paid for this service, I find this unacceptable. I relied on the assurance that amendments would be straightforward, yet I am now being forced to pay another firm to redo the entire will. Very poor client care and not the level of service I expected.... Read more
