23rd Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Just don't go there. Individually very pleasant people, as a firm, hopeless. I engaged them with specific agreed conditions which they all seemed happy with but were totally ignored. They had a tenant in the wings but did not send me any signed hard copy tenancy agreement until the tenant had taken up occupation three weeks previously. They are expensive for poor performance and ignore instructions taking it upon themselves to follow their own devices. Keys taken away preventing cleaners access. More keys cut contra to instruction and overall totally ignored my instructions, contract conditions and expensive to boot.

Her ability to make me feel comfortable and valued is truly commendable. I have interacted with numerous estate agents over the years, especially in Devizes, both in person and via various forms of communication, but Dimity stands out as the best I have ever encountered. 1st May 2024 (12 weeks ago)We are due to complete on our first ever house purchase this week and fox and sons have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Having viewed and attempted to buy a few times over the last few years, we are well versed in the pushy style of other firms and have been nervous of the buying process falling through as it has done on previous properties. From the get go, fox and sons amesbury have been way above any agents we have viewed with in the past. Courtney was relaxed, friendly and informative, allowing a comfortable and unrushed viewing of the property. We took their advice and chose to use the all in services package with sequence/ fox and sons and this has enabled us to step away from a lot of the chasing and allow the different agents to communicate effectively with each other. My husband's working schedule has meant he was unable to visit the property before putting an offer in. HOWEVER: fox and sons have a fantastic video walk round of the property where you can click through the whole building and outside space from different angles. This is accurate and not exaggerated with fish eye lenses etc. This addition enabled my husband to be able to look around the property and discuss it with me and meant we were able to put an offer in without delay. Without this we would not have been able to offer before someone else did. This tool is incredible and such a plus point. It's also meant I can wistfully 'walk around' the property and plan our layouts before completion. Amy has been incredibly informative and reassuring and speaks to you like you're her only client and nothing is a bother. There were issues further up the chain but she explained and reassured us knowing we were nervous as having been burned before with chains failing. Courtney and Amy are an absolute pleasure and I am so happy that we have been fortunate enought to buy through Fox and Sons amesbury. They will be our go to if we ever decide to sell. Customers for life!

27th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)The worst lettings/estate agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. All staff dealt with have been incredibly unpleasant, contentious, arrogant, unprofessional, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. This includes the practice manager who failed to respond appropriately or professionally to a complaint. I am contemplating taking further action.

However it is the communication that is excellent. Selling a house can be stressful but at every stage we received guidance, support and clarity. No hesitation in recommending them to you in the highest possible terms

Due to circumstances outside our control ours didn't and we then received a shocking email threatening us with 50% fees if our buyers pulled out. What they don't tell you is that they're a franchise, and they also don't sign up to The Property Ombudsman or any organisation to follow a Code of Conduct.... you will have no legal redress if things go wrong
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

We were immediately impressed by their professionalism, as they made a difficult process as easy as it could be for us. For example, after every viewing, we had feedback within the hour, without having to chase them to request it. Their customer service was excellent throughout, they always answered our questions swiftly and returned calls. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Despite everyone telling us how fantastic our home was we didn’t receive any offers and interest soon dwindled. In August 2023 we appointed Fine & Country Marlborough and what a totally amazing experience from day one! Kate Ormand was our contact and she was truly amazing! She worked tirelessly trying to sell our house and remained positive and encouraging even in times when the market was quiet. She always kept us updated and was always contactable. We cannot praise her enough. Ed and Pip from the Marlborough team were also always helpful and supportive. We sold our house recently and Kate made sure the whole process was as smooth as possible even in challenging times. The old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ couldn’t have been more true as Kate went way above and beyond to ensure our sale was successful. If you’re thinking of selling your home anytime soon do not bother with any other estate agent because Kate and the Marlborough team are simply the best!
