14th Nov 2024 (22 days ago)Probably the worst Estate Agent I have ever been involved with. Rented a property from them for over 18 months. The number of problems we had, the terrible communication, the fact that the ex tenants possessions remained in a shed for over a year, just starts to scratch the surface of this "Estate Agency". Cap it off, having left the property in a better state than we found it, they are now refusing to refund our deposit. Despite having it in writing that the landlady does not want to make any deductions. The pictures are from when we moved in. They have now been ordered to refund the deposit from the TDS and have still refused. I have everything in writing. Please do yourself a favour, before you commit to renting your house with this agency, head serveral hundred yards straight into Mr Homes! Sellers beware, they will over price your house and when it does not sell, you will end up heading back to Mr Homes to sell it anyway. Wishing you luck should you wish to continue after reading this honest feedback.
10th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)We’ve let a number of our properties, both locally (and throughout south Wales) via Matthew and his team at First 4 Rentals, for many years, and constantly received a professional, capable and friendly service. In over 25 years of dealing with various agents throughout Wales, First 4 Rentals is the only one I’ve ever been impressed with enough to write a public review. Their level of service, attention to detail, prompt communication and helpfulness is something that sets them apart from lesser agents. Over the years, Matthew has helped sort out everything that a remote landlord will encounter, and all with satisfactory outcomes, for both us, and the tenants. (We were always relived to know we had found a letting agent who supported and facilitated our goal of being a decent and fair landlord, always ensuring all aspects of the letting process were compliant, safe and secure for both parties) Additionally, their level of personal attention is exemplary. By way of example; we requested a swift turnaround on a vacant property in Cardiff city centre at then end of last week - today at 8am a comprehensive video inspection report arrived in my inbox! Having engaged and supported us with both sales and lettings, Matthew consistently delivers a first class service, and I have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone needing a trusted partner in what, for many of us, can be a challenging arena.

29th Oct 2024 (5 weeks ago)23/10/24 Update: had contact from agency and work is finally done. Lady was very polite and apologetic over the phone and the issue is resolved. Quite frankly, NO NEED FOR THE ATTITUDE. Not even my agency, is my father's. Trying to get hold of these people is impossible. Not being able to just drive to tonypandy I have to rely on telephone contact. Left them numerous messages to call me back. Its regarding repairs and by the looks of things, this seems to be their motto.. Ignore and ignore you, hope the problem will go away. My dad is ill and I'm trying to sort this out for him. Really shoddy service and they had to cheek to raise the rent by £100 pm. Hopefully my negative review will get their attention and provoke a response (as all the others have!)

1st Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)We have been dealing with the Talbot Green branch over the last few months regarding both buying and selling, Cordelia has been a huge help in keeping us updated with new listings that match our criteria and is extremely friendly and professional - although not quite ready yet we will not be looking to go elsewhere when it comes to selling our home!

13th Nov 2024 (23 days ago)?? If anyone is looking to put their property on the market I would highly recommend they do not list with South Wales Property Investors and Lettings in Treorchy. Moving home can be a stressful time and the people you enlist to sell your property should make it as smooth a process as possible. We have had the worst experience with them the last two weeks and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be spoken to, lied to and dealt with in the manner I have.

The house was in the market for sometime but the feedback from the viewings we had were well communicated and discussed. After a lot of hard work and reappraisal of the housing market and valuation the house was sold for the current asking price and the sale agreed. Throughout the completion period we were helped by Olivia Louise who were able to contact third parties on my behalf to expedite the process. Good all round service

I recently finished a property and wanted to rent it out and have it managed, so reached out to Kayleigh Ashford from NEXA. Kayleigh was so quick to respond to every question I had, and had my place rented out after the first viewings - for more than initially expected too! Will continue to work with Kayleigh on future purchases, could not recommend her enough!
31st Jul 2024 (18 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Can't believe if you ask for a viewing after 5pm on a weekday or anytime at a weekend its virtually impossible! Not sarah - she did viewings 7 days a week. I'm sure she'd do viewings at 4am if I asked her! Really friendly and always kept in touch.

Wayne managed to get our property straight on the market and sold it first viewing, we are now in our forever home. For an A class service I would highly recommend using Wayne Lewis to sell your home. All go above and beyond for you and are all really lovely to deal with. Thank You Sian and Steve
