The Square Room

19a Marsh Mill Village, Fleetwood Road North

I love The Square Room team. Young and enthusiastic, peoples people. We have sold and rented with the help of Paul and his team and have been delighted with the communication and level of attention that our business has received throughout the individual processes. We still have an ongoing sale and again the support is amazing. Thank you Square Room.

They state if an application isn't successful they will tell you why... I was never given a reason & then offered another property with them (for additional fees) wouldn't use again or recommend. Typical agents just want easy money!

This estate agents is in my opinion highly unprofessional and extremely ignorant. We had a rental viewing at a property a month ago: Keepers Cottage, Thistleton Road, Preston, and was told the property was available with front and rear gardens as stated in the advert. At the time of viewing the landlord had a car parked at the back of the house during the viewing which was directly in-front of the back garden. We was told by Simon it was being moved without even questioning it and then after we had filled in all the lengthy forms, sent ID and got references, we was told the landlord suddenly decided he wanted to park his converted prison van motorhome in the backyard which would result in blocking the lovely garden and taking up the turning circle, making it difficult to park our vehicles on the driveway and leaving the tenant to view a unattractive ex prison van out of the back window. The landlord also required access to the shed which would be fine but absolutely none of this was mentioned in the first viewing or before we sent any of our personal details to this estate agent including the hassle of references and driving 75 miles to view the property in the first place, complete waste of time. When I tried to compromise, the estate agent did not bother emailing me back to answer questions I had even though I had emailed twice and was always polite; instead ignoring me but editing the advertisement. They said they’d get back to me but never did. This is appalling and not the level of professionalism you would expect and I would not want to put my trust in this estate agent as they are clearly not very committed and all is not what it seems. 1. Your lack of unprofessionalism and ignorance. 2. You rent properties out with the landlord in the backyard. That’s just weird. We was told the previous tenant was a nightmare, and you wonder why? Dodged a bullet!

I believe the gentleman I dealt with was called Josh and I can safely say I couldn't be happier with the service. Very friendly and helpful and if I ever need this type of service in the future I shall be returning here.

Staff are efficient and professional and I was extremely happy with their performance. They managed to get me a buyer within a couple of days and gave excellent support over the period of the purchase which as made complicated by vendors further up the chain. Linda Wilson was especially helpful on finding out what was going on and chivvying all the various solicitors and agents involved.

Chris Frost

Be aware once you pay your bond, chances are you won’t receive it back!! Even with the minor work needed (carpets cleaning and oven etc) they still thought it was appropriate to bill this at what seems to be £620!!!! Sent 5 emails chasing them, to then be ignored... Won’t ever be using them again.

GetAgent makes finding an estate agent easier.

Very helpful in arranging for 3 agents to come around and put their pitch for marketing our property. Having them as an intermediary made the process...

A very good comparison website

A very good comparison website for checking local estate agencies. We used it to check who have sold the most in our area and the results were very useful to us.

Easy to use.

Very quick service, within an hour I had my valuation set up with 2 different companies. Saves time as well as you don't need to trawl the internet.

Mrs susan fletcher

It really helped my decision making

There are so many estate agents to choose from but they provided details with the numbers of houses each had sold in my area and which had achieved the asking price which I found most helpful

Mrs Heather Marshall

Choose the right agent for your house.

An amazingly easy way to choose your estate agent with total confidence. I did and among the many found the right one for my house. Speedy, responsive, considerate and effective. Thank you.

Ms Jean Bywater

Good easy to understand info. They even got the agents to contact me, so I didn't need to chase them.
